DAN SHAUGHNESSY
Dan Shaughnessy has been a sports columnist for the
Boston Globe for more than 20 years. Dan has been named
Massachusetts Sportswriter of the Year nine times and eight times has been voted one of America's top
sports columnists by Associated Press sports editors. He has written 11 books including, "The Curse of the
Bambino," "Senior Year," and "Fenway - A Biography in Words and Pictures." He also appears regularly on
ESPN's “Jim Rome is Burning” and "Outside the Lines." He is also a regular on 98.5 SportsHub Radio, Channel
7's SportsExtra, NESN and Comcast. He writes a weekly column for Sports Illustrated.com.

PRESENTING SPONSOR - $2,500: Company name and logo will appear on all promotional materials, YMCA
of Greater Springfield website, and will be prominently displayed at the event. Company name will appear in all
media correspondence and in the event video. Presenting sponsors will be prominently featured during the
event speaking program.
TABLE SPONSOR - $800: Company name and logo will be displayed at the event. Company will also receive
recognition in the speaking program and media recognition. Table sponsors receive 10 tickets to the event.
BUFFET SPONSOR - $500: Company name and logo will be displayed at the event and on the YMCA of Greater
Springfield's website. Company will also receive recognition in the speaking program.
COFFEE SPONSOR - $300: Company name and logo will be displayed at the event and on the website
