Stephan Eberharter was born on
24th March 1969 in Brixlegg, one of
three sons to Christine and Joseph
Eberharter. Inspired by his father,
he took part in his first children’s
race at just six years old, where he
immediately showed his talents.
Success quickly followed, motivating Stephan to complete the ski
secondary school in Neustift and
the skiing commercial college in
Stams.
Stephan’s
reputation
quickly
spread, leading the way to his nomination to the Austrian national skiing team. The highlight being the
Olympic Games in Nagano, where
he won the silvermedalinthegiantslalom, behind the unbeatable Hermann Maier.
In the 1998/99 season he improved further: he won 3
worldcupraces and stood on the winner’
The 2001/02 season was Stephan’s most successful.
He won the overallworldcupaswellasthedownhillandSuperGworldcups. On top of this he also
won Olympicgoldinthegiantslalom,silverinthe
SuperGandbronzeinthedownhill.
On 17th September 2004 Stephan announced his
retirement from competitions. In total, Stephan won
29 world cup races, twice won the overall world
cup,andbecameOlympicchampiononceandworld
championthreetimes. With these titles he is one of
the most successful Austrian skiers.
Today Stephan works as a vitality coach and advisor
to many people. He lives with his wife Birgit and son
Felix in Stumm im Zillertal.

The “Tiroler Adlerin” is a
fictional character with
strong symbolism. The
crown and the raised
main stand for the
pride of the woman,
the sharp tongue represents her courage, and the wings symbolize
flexibility, freedom and creativity. The raised
hands are a sign of strength. The eagle has
both feet firmly on the ground and is committed to its womanly attributes.
The fashion of “Tiroler Adlerin” is
uniqueandindividual. The individual
pieces are made with great attention
to detail and by hand, and finished
by Margret personally using handscreen printing. Real Tyrolean
handicraft can be found in each of
the exclusive pieces. The creative
combination of tradition, modernity, craftsmanship and art make
the collections from the “Tiroler Adlerin” unmistakable.
In addition to quality, it is important to express your own personality. Just as
there are substancesofnature, which allow for individual development, it is
the nature of these substances that define who you are, what you represent
and where you fly.
We consciously use materials
such as wool and loden in the Eagle collections, which represent
the Tyrolean crafts and the unique
quality. At the same time, these
natural treasures show our home
ties and our appreciation of our

They celebrated their biggestsuccesses in 2010, when
Victoria became Vice World
Champion in the „Vertical
Rise“ discipline and Martin
became world champion in
the „Sprint.” As well as many
other factors, every single
gram of weight is important
in succeeding. Training in the
summer involves mountain
running competitions, making the mountains of Tyrol
the ideal training location. In
an interview they told us that
they also have the opportunity to train at home, but that they enjoy
training in the Zillertal, so that they can also relax and enjoy the services on offer at off at Stock, as well as the perfect training conditions!
Sport at high altitudes, according to an AMAstudy, reduces the cholesterol level, high blood pressure and body fat!
Victoria works in her parent’s sport shop and Martin is a Swiss border
guard. Their next goals are the European Championships in February 2012 and of course to earn points in the World Cup. Their biggest
dream, and probably that of any top athlete, is to participate in the Olympics, as soon as the sport of ski touring becomes an Olympic sport
again. This is currently in planning, while the sport is gaining popularity. Both Alpine skiers agree, however, that the most important thing is
that they never stop enjoying the sport.
