FabriQDM increases machine throughput, ensures quality
processing and expands a shop's reach and service to clients.
FabriQDM is part of a comprehensive Quality Management System and can be used stand-alone or in conjunction with the FabriVISION Laser.
FabriQDM and FabriVISION utilize a centralized ICS file for full spectrum inspection coverage from blanking to assembly. With FabriQDM improving quality and production, raising throughput has never been easier.
FabriQDM is a universal Quality Data Manager, which creates an easy to use QDM template that defines, validates and stores all necessary inspection data for traceability and analysis. Using the QDM template over the network, inspection data can be directly captured by most digital measuring
instruments (digital calipers, height gauges, protractors, etc.), the FabriVISION machine itself, and manual entries (pin gauges, thread gauges, CMM,
etc.). This provides flexibility to accommodate the majority of inspection needs. Furthermore, the QDM template incorporates a tolerance range to
validate pass or fail decisions.

to begin manual input of inspection

• Use electronic gauges or other
measuring devices to measure a
specific dimension.
• The report dialogue box will
automatically guide you through the
inspection process.
• If the dimension is out of tolerance,
the manual entry box will appear
with the measurement in red.
• If the dimension is within tolerance,
the manual entry box will appear
with the measurement in green.
• Transfer the orthographic images
from a CAD file to the orthographic
page.
• Create the inspection check sheet file
for the flat view.
• Go to the orthographic page, create
the dimensions required for inspection and save this 3D inspection
check sheet for later use.

FabriQDM Deployment Options
FabriQDM can be deployed anywhere in the shop where inspection is needed and where
production takes place. Because the QDM template is set up by a QC specialist, FabriQDM allows most inspections to be performed by non-experts. Now the parts can be inspected right
off the production line, realizing a new level of QC efficiency and production throughput.

The centralized ICS file stores all QC data captured from the QDM templates. ICS is the foundation for compliance with the latest Quality Management Certification standards and provides full record keeping for traceability. In addition, ICS data can be used to fine-tune the manufacturing
