Wedding Terms & CondiTions
1. Booking Procedure
Provisional bookings can be held for up to 14 days, after which time it is at the hotels discretion to release the date unless confirmed with a booking deposit.
To confirm a wedding reception booking, a deposit of €1500.00 is required. 50% of the estimated wedding bill must be paid six months in advance of the event. A final payment
of a further 25% is required 2 weeks before the event. The balance remaining must be paid prior to departure from the hotel.
Please note these deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Final payment must be made by Cash / Bank draft or Credit Card. We cannot accept cheque payment.
The hotel reserves the right to cancel or refund deposits in circumstances when a booking is made through a third party or under false pretences. Deposits must
be paid in person to the hotel; otherwise the hotel reserves the right to cancel the booking.
2. Accommodation
Cancellation Policy
individual Bookings: A €65 booking deposit or credit card details are required to confirm a reservation. Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance will be charged a
cancellation fee of the first nights stay.
Group Bookings: A complete rooming list for a group booking must be received at least four weeks prior to arrival. This list must be provided by the Bride & Groom,
guests can not book a room on a group booking through the hotel. Any rooms not named four weeks prior to arrival will be automatically released. Cancellations
of individual bookings on the group block made less than 48 hours prior to arrival will be charged a cancellation fee of the 1st nights stay. The Bride & Groom
will be liable for this charge.
3. Wedding Cancellation Policy
in the event of cancelling a confirmed booking, the following charges will be due (deposits already paid will also be forfeited). in each case, the percentage charge applies to
the estimated total account for the event, including accommodation, wine sales, loss of beverage sales and any other items booked as part of the contract based on the numbers
originally booked:
Within 4 weeks = 100 %
Within 8 weeks = 75%
Within 8-16 weeks = 50%
Within 16-36 weeks = 25%
minimum number Policy
A minimum number of 130 guests are required to reserve a Wedding on Friday or Saturday.
Final numbers for the Wedding must be supplied to the hotel at least 48 hours in advance. This number will be the minimum number of guests charged for on the day.
4. Price Variation
in the event of circumstances beyond the hotel’s control, the hotel reserves the right to vary the prices quoted to an extent which reflects such circumstances.
5. services / Procedures
The Hotel reserves the right to change any of its banqueting services, procedures and processes without prior notification.
6. storage / Personal Property
The hotel will try wherever possible to assist the guests with the storage of equipment, personal property; wedding cakes etc, but accept no liability for any damage or loss.
The hotel will not accept responsibility for any goods consigned to the hotel or any of its staff in connection with any event nor will it be responsible for any freight, carriage
or delivery charges.
The hotel will not accept gifts or cards at reception on behalf of the Bride & groom. A safe will be provided in the Bridal suite for the secure storage of Cards etc.
7. entertainment
The hotel will not accept any responsibility for any entertainment that has not been booked directly with the hotel. However all entertainment arrangements must have the
approval of the hotel management prior to the date of the function. All entertainment must provide their own equipment and accept full responsibility for same.
8. Food & Beverage
no food or beverages will be permitted to be brought into the hotel without the special permission of the hotel. The hotel reserves the right to make a charge for the service
of same (exception of special occasion Cakes)
9. noise Level
The Hotel management, at their discretion, may reduce the sound levels from bands or discos without having to consult the Bride & groom. it is assumed that no exceptional
noise factor will be created by an event but if in doubt, organisers must notify the hotel management of the type of event proposed.
10. Licensing & statutory regulations
The hotel must comply with all relevant statutes and therefore require its customers not to act in such a way as would put the hotel in breach of any statute. in particular,
customers are reminded to maintain free access to fire exits at all times and not to interfere with or obstruct any fire equipment / notices during the course of the event.
Please note the bar in the banqueting room will remain open until 1.30am. Following the event a resident’s bar will be provided for guests staying in the hotel.
This bar will close at 3.30am.
12. Additional events
The hotel reserves the right to host any additional events in suites not reserved by the client. such additional events include, but are not limited to, Banquets, Conferences,
dinner Parties.
13. Quality of service
in order for us to provide you with our high standard of service, the pre-arranged timings must be adhered to. Time of arrival, reception and sit down time must all be agreed
in advance. To ensure the quality of service, it is also strongly recommended that toasts only commence after the service of dessert.
14. The menu included in this brochure is a sample menu, the hotel may change certain elements of the menu.
