1. Trim white card base to 4.25.5.5 and score to make top folding card and set aside
2. Layer the Pattern of the Rings stencil over the top of another piece of white cardstock and spray Tim
Holtz Distress Spray Stain from about 12 inches above in the colors Cracked Pistachio and Seedless
Preserves and set aside to dry.
3. Using the direct to paper technique, apply the ink pad direct to a piece of white cardstock with
Cracked Pistachio distress ink. This ensure a perfect match of color since we used the same color in the
spray stain format. Secure the friend die over the top with some washi/surgical tape (I do this so my
die doesn’t shift around in the machine) and run thru the die cutting machine
4. Once the stenciled panel is dry, take the two largest tag dies from the Tag Buddies and layer them
right on top of the stenciled panel and run it thru your die cutting machine. Doing this will provide you
a tag frame, rather than a solid tag.
5. Add double sided foam dimension on the back of the tag die cut panel and place on the white card
base at an angle.
6. Stamp sentiment from the Girlfriend stamp set in black ink.
7. Secure friend die over the top of the tag panel with Multi Matte Medium, tie with twine and round

1. Die-cut the largest tag from the Stamp of Approval collection from vellum and prep it with a
powder tool. Stamp the sentiment from CAS-ual Fridays Stamps Girlfriend set with Versamark
and heat-emboss it with gold embossing powder.
2. Take a 4.25” by 11” card base of Neenah Desert Storm cardstock and score it at 5.5.” Cut a tiny
slit at the score line about a half an inch from the left edge. Use post-it tape to adhere the card
to your work surface and mask off the back of the card so that you can stamp the flowers over
the edge of the card without inking up what will become the back of your card.
3. Stamp the solid flowers from the Winnie & Walter In Bloom: Eva’s Favorite Flowers stamp set
across the panel with white pigment ink. Heat set it with the heat gun so the pigment ink won’t
smudge.
4. Next, stamp the larger outline flowers with the colored pigment inks. Stamp the entire card
base with larger flowers and then fill in the empty spaces with the smaller flowers, leaves and
accents. Don’t worry if the stamps overlap. Heat-set the colored inks or let it dry overnight.
5. Put a couple of dots of Ranger multi-medium matte on the back of the vellum tag where they
will be hidden by the embossed word then place the tag onto the card.
6. Thread the twine and metallic thread through the slit in the top of the card and tie it around the
opening in the tag. Arrange the bow and then cut the ends of the strings so they’re even.
