Dallas St., Marfa) from 7:00–8:30 p.m. and will be open to the general public for a $5 donation to Grand Companions Humane Society. Drinks and light appetizers will be served. The bus will leave the party promptly at 8:30 to make one trip back to Alpine for those who need a ride. El Paso • Marfa Join Malinda Beeman and Allan McClane for a tour of the Marfa Maid goat dairy. “The Little Dairy on the Prairie” is located in Marfa. We are a “Grade A” goat milk facility making a fine artisan goat cheese daily. All cheeses are made of goat’s milk from the Marfa dairy. We milk twice a day and use the milk to make fresh, semi-soft and aged cheeses. Currently Marfa Maid offers a fresh chevre, several chevre “spreads” that are flavored with home-grown herbs or seasnonings, feta, ricotta, queso frescos, soft mold ripened and farmhouse cheddars. Marfa Maid goat cheese is available in specialty grocery stores, local restaurants and at the Farmstand Marfa in the Big Bend Region of West Texas. Cost: Free about David Alan: David Alan is a professional bartender and restaurant specialist who launched Tipsy Texan in 2007, becoming an early and outspoken voice for Texas’ emerging craft cocktail and spirits scene.
