ITP SOFT TYPE BACKER ROD INSULATION is
ideally suited for specialty applications where
standard backer rods are not appropriate. Ideal
in irregular joint applications, particularly where
self-leveling, flowable sealants are employed. It is
also recommended with sealants where bubbling
is a concern. ITP SOFT TYPE BACKER ROD is
compatible with all known cold applied sealants
including butyl, polysulfide, acrylic, polyurethane
and silicone.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION AND BASIC USES:
DENVER FOAM® is a round, continuous-length,
compressible open-cell polyurethane foam used
primarily as a “non-gassing” backer rod in caulking
and sealant applications, such as expansion joints.
The material can be installed quickly and easily with
any type tool. DENVER FOAM® is compressible
enough to install in joints with a wide variation in
width without changing backer rod sizes.

ITP standard closed cell backer rod insulation is an
ideal non-absorbent compressible backup material.
It can be inserted into a joint to control sealant
depth, create a backstop to allow proper sealant
tooling, or to allow proper sealant wetting of the
joint surfaces. It insulates the underside of the
sealant and yields a proper bond breaker between
the backup material sealant. ITP standard closed
cell backer rod can also be used as a temporary
joint seal.
ITP standard closed cell backer rod is commonly
used in glazing operations, window and door
applications, expansion joints, curtain wall joints,
partitions, log construction, pavement joints, and
repairs, precast units and copings. ITP standard
closed cell backer rod is compatible with butyl,
polysulfide, acrylic, polyurethane, silicone and
most other cold sealant compositions.

ITP SOFT TYPE BACKER ROD INSULATION is a
soft, pliable, non-gassing back-up material. It is
inserted into an expansion or contraction joint to
control sealant depth and to create a backstop
to allow proper sealant tooling to ensure sealant
adhesion to joint surfaces only and to yield a proper
bond break between backup material and sealant.
It can also be used as a temporary joint seal.

HEAVY DUTY BOND BREAKER TAPES are manufactured of low density polyethylene (LDPE) which
has low to no adhesion to most general construction sealants such as silicones and polyurethanes.
They are coated on one side with a rubber based
pressure sensitive adhesive and have good, quick
stick to most construction substrates. The tape is
11 mils thick and comes in 100 foot rolls.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
SM 5700 Poly-Glaze™ is a 100% solids compound
that is a blend of polyisobutylene polymer and
highly crosslinked butylpolymer. It is supplied as
a preformed sealant in rope form. The product
can be described as a dense, tacky, rubber-like
compound.
BASIC USES:
SM 5700 Poly-Glaze™ Tape Sealant is used for
sealing and bedding vision lites and panels found
in fenestration details. It can also be used to seal
other joint details found in assembly and fabrication
operations where a high-solids, non-drying preformed sealant is required. SM 5700 Poly-Glaze™
may be factory or field applied. No primers are
required to obtain adhesion. Clean substrates are
required. The tape exhibits excellent weatherability
when exposed to ultraviolet and infrared radiation,
atmospheric hydrocarbon contamination and
extremes in temperature. Will no craze acrylic or
polycarbonate plastic surfaces.

SM 5710 H.P. Poly-Glaze™ is a 100% solids moleculary forged and highly cross-linked butyl compound. It is supplied as a preformed tape in roll
form on easily removed backing paper. The product
can be described as a dense, tacky, rubber-like
compound.
BASIC USES:
SM 5710 H.P. Poly-Glaze™ Tape Sealant is used in
compression glazing details of vision lites exceeding
100 unit inches or panels where dynamic requirements and high performance characteristics are
required. Tests indicate that the tape has excellent
stability and weatherability when exposed to ultraviolet and infared radiations, atmospheric hydrocarbon contamination and extremes in temperatures.

SM 5227 is a 100% solids, butyl tape sealant
that can best be described as a highly rubbery,
tacky, reinforced compound ideal for sealing
joints encountered in pre-engineered metal
building fabrication.
SM 5229 Tacky Tape Sealant exhibits balanced
properties of adhesion, cohesion and ductility.
Many details encountered in manufactured
housing are quickly and easily sealed. It is
trimmable and can be applied in cool and
warm plant conditions.
SM 5227 is used to seal and prevent the entry
of dust, air and moisture through details found in
pre-engineered metal buildings. Several of these
details are: endlaps, sidelaps, vents, gutters, roof
jacks, window fins, door fins, and skylights.
SM 5229 is intended to perform the sealant
function between door and window fins to exterior
wall through-wall roof and side-wall vent flanges,
drip caps and j-rail to body details. It can be used
for interior details.

SikaLastomer®-95 Isobutylene Tripolymer Tape is
a high performance, tacky elastic butyl tape which
is designed to bond through oily GALVALUME®,
KYNAR 500®, aluminized steel, ZINCALUME®,
galvanized metal, aluminum, siliconized polyester
and polyvinyl fluoride painted metals, glass,
wood, concrete, fiber-reinforced plastics FRP) and
similar substrates. Its superior surface tack affords
tenacious adhesion to these substrates without
pre-wiping the surface even at temperatures as
low as 5°F.
Specifically developed for sealing critical Standing
Seam Roof (SSR) endlaps and lap joints for metal
building roofs, skylights, roof curbs, smoke vents,
air conditioning equipment, curtain wall joints and
perimeter areas around windows and doors. Sealing
exterior lap joints of grain storage bins and sealing
the base to the concrete pad. Designed for sealing
polyethylene sheeting and metal sewer pipes.
Sealing exposed, concealed exterior lap joints of
aluminum, steel, coated metals, wood, roof rails
and door hinges in transport equipment.
Waterproofs rivet seams and lap seams in truck
trailers and RVs. Excellent for sealing between
dissimilar metals to prevent electrolysis.

Grace Ice & Water Shield is a premier membrane
composed of two waterproofing materials — an
aggressive rubberized asphalt adhesive backed by a
layer of high density cross laminated polyethylene.
The rubberized asphalt surface is backed with a

quality. During application, the release paper is
easily removed, allowing the rubberized asphalt
to bond tightly to the roof deck. In addition,
embedded in the membrane is a “split-release
on demand” feature called RIPCORD™.

DESCRIPTION:
Arclad® 3000 series tapes are flexible, closed cell
polyolefin foam tapes coated on both sides with a
permanent acrylic based pressure sensitive adhesive. Arclad® 3000 series bonds well to many
plastics, vinyl, metals and construction materials,
including glass and preserved wood. Arclad®
3000 series are suggested for glazing windows
while featuring excellent UV resistance, clod flex
and good sealing characteristics.
POLYKEN 626 FOILASTIC is an aluminum foil
backed butyl adhesive tape used for sealing metal
and wood surfaces. POLYKEN 626 FOILASTIC
exhibits excellent adhesion to most metal and
wood surfaces. POLYKEN 626 FOILASTIC is
easily applied, paintable and remains flexible
at low temperature.
POLYKEN 626 FOILASTIC may be used to seal
the following: tile underlayment and flashing,
gutters, roof valleys and eaves, chimneys and
vents. It also seals rooftop duct systems, sheet
metal repairs on mobile homes, metal buildings

require shims or spacers to prevent over compression of the tape during wind loading.
NORSEAL® V730 is a preformed, closed cell,
polyvinyl chloride foam tape used as an acoustical
sealant. Its low density controls sound transmission
and vibration which makes it ideal for acoustical
partitions.
The tapes are compatible with most common
glazing materials. Use them to install glass and
other types of glazing panels into framing systems
fabricated from aluminum, steel, wood and plastic.

Econ-O-Shims® are molded from an engineered
plastic which combines excellent compressive
strength, good load bearing surface contact, and
true shim thickness. Econ-O-Shims® are molded
from a fire retardant engineered co-polymer plastic.
They have a compressive strength of 10-12,000 psi
with no fracture even at 35,000 psi. They are
classed as slow burning with no toxic fumes.

Econ-O-Shims® are unaffected by microorganisms and alkalis, ground chemicals and
liquids. Econ-O-Shims® will not rust, rot, stain or
leach.

A stack shim allows up to 5 length adjustments,
and up to 16 height adjustments. Available in

windows, cabinets and more. You can mix paints
and spread adhesives and glues too.
The CWPS is 8" long x 1-1/2 wide x 5/16
