Read Saskatchewan. The name says it all, really. Each of the books presented
on the following pages was produced and published in Saskatchewan. Book
publishers in Saskatchewan produce the work of writers from the province,
but they also publish writers from all over Canada, and throughout the world.
Academic and scholarly books are produced in the province, as well as fiction,
non-fiction, poetry, youth fiction, children’s books, language resources, cook­
books, self-help titles, and nearly every other genre imaginable. Our publishers
produce about 100 books each year. We’d like to say that all of them would like
to come home with you, but we know what it’s like to try to fit 100 books on
your shelves each year.
SaskBooks is a non-profit organisation mandated to support and to promote
book publishing in Saskatchewan. This collection of new and forthcoming titles
highlights some of the great range and diversity of books our publishers have to
offer. SaskBooks also produces reviews of our publishers’ books, which can be
found on our website (saskbooks.com) under “reviews”. If your educational or
