The Theses for Diploma and Degree students have now been submitted and the students are.very busy working on their Exhibition pieces for their show on the 7th. June, we wish them well and look forward to seeing wonderful Art which the show produces each year. Last Term we had our fIrst Arts and Culture Week in Cluain :rvIl1uire,Our Director Marion Coy officially opened it on Tuesday 18th. March. This is an exciting new initiative that the students 10.00am -12.5Opm havedevelopedand deservesthe supportof all. Studentsfrom various disciplines,Paint,Print, Sculpture, Ceramics,T.V. andFilm all played their part in ma~g the week memorable.Eachdaybeganwith a theme,suchas Spanishandthere was SalsaandFlamencodancing workshopson and Spanishfood in the canteen.Along the corridors were displaysof PrintsandPaintings in which BrendanCrehan's Celtic Art tookpride of place. Therewere manyother events throughoutthe week including slide showsand Live Art Painting.
