optimum performance on the road. So it
is no coincidence that Porsche was the
first car manufacturer to introduce a
specific quality label for its tyres: the
N marking.
Only tyres that meet the high quality
standards and have passed all
Porsche's tests carry the N marking.
This marking is always referred to in the
technical tyre information, for example
N0, N1, N2, N3, N4… The N0 marking
being assigned to the first approved
version of a tyre design and the N1, N2
or N3 being given to later significant
evolutions of this tyre.
You can be sure that a tyre recommended
by Porsche, with the Porsche-specific
N marking, has been developed to
precisely match your vehicle, and meets
100% of the specifications defined by
Porsche. Additionally, the tyre has been
tested under all conditions of use and
therefore offers high levels of safety.
How do we test the tyres for your Porsche?
Just like a Porsche, the tyre development
process includes extensive high speed,
traction, comfort and fuel consumption
testing.
From endurance tests on machines to
driving dynamics on the track and
material tests in the lab.
That is why we recommend that you
only use N marked tyres on your
