PROGETTO PZERO
Si tratta di un progetto industriale di Pirelli, lanciato nel 2002 partendo con una scarpa da vela
(PZERO ACQUA) e una giacca (PZERO ARIA). Fin dagli inizi, il Progetto PZERO era stato concepito
come un’estensione naturale del marchio Pirelli al mondo dello Stile di vita, usando un nuovo
marchio di fabbrica, contraddistinto dalla famosa P allungata, completata da un piccolo zero (il
Logo PZERO). È nel contempo la traduzione naturale e il sunto dell’origine industriale di Pirelli, del
suo DNA legato all’innovazione, al risultato e al mondo del glamour. Un progetto trasversale fatto
di vari prodotti, tutti rispondenti a uno stesso concetto: design ricercato, utilizzo d’avanguardia e
selezione dei materiali
PZERO PROJECT
It is an Industrial project of Pirelli which was launched in 2002 starting with a sailing shoe (PZERO
ACQUA) and a Jacket (PZERO ARIA). Since the beginning, the PZERO Project was conceived as a
natural brand-extension of Pirelli in the world of Lifestyle, using a new trademark with the famous
elongated P decorated with a little zero (the PZERO Logo). It is at the same time the natural
translation and the summary of the industrial origin of Pirelli, of its dna connected to innovation,
performance and the world of glamour. A transversal project made of different products but with
the same soul: researched design and forefront use and selection of materials

COLLECTION
Gli orologi PZERO, autentici gioielli di precisione sintetizzano ed esaltano lo spirito del progetto
di Industrial design di Pirelli: oggetti fortemente radicati nel mondo dell’industria e dal design
con forte imprinting italiano. La migliore tecnologia svizzera avanzata nel campo dell’orologeria
si fonde con un design unico e in un prodotto dalla fortissima riconoscibilità: unica e inimitabile.
Collezioni uomo e donna dalla forte connotazione sportiva, dallo stile scattante e dalle prestazioni
performanti che uniscono i migliori materiali di altissima tecnologia mutuati dal mondo industriale,
alla tecnica orologiaia svizzera più sofisticata. Quadranti che si distinguono per inediti giochi
curvilinei, cinturini che si raccordano alla cassa con due tubolari. Come la gomma del pneumatico
al metallo del cerchione. A sigillare questi gioielli di precisione, i passanti in acciaio e la chiusura
deployante: due antine, che piegano a libro in un solo gesto.
Il bracciale-icona della collezione trova ispirazione nel mondo dei cinturati dagli alti contenuti
tecnologici, dalle performance e dai dettagli ricercati: il caucciù, la gomma ultra light, il titanio,
il coccodrillo, l’acciaio. Accomuna ed identifica tutti gli orologi l’impronta pneumatica, leit motiv
del progetto di Industrial Design di Pirelli.

design project: objects deeply rooted in industry, designed with strong Italian imprinting. Stateof-the-art Swiss technology unites with a unique design to create a product with maximum
recognizability: unique and inimitable.
Sporty men’s and women’s collections with vibrant style and high performance, combining the
finest hi-tech materials from industry with sophisticated Swiss watchmaking technique. Faces
that stand out thanks to new curvilinear shapes, watch straps that connect to the case with two
tubular elements: just like a rubber tyre to a metal rim. Sealing these jewels of precision, steel
links and deployant clasp: two small panels that fold, book-style, in a single motion.The collection’s
icon-bracelet is inspired by radial tyres, with their high technology content, performance, and
elegant details: ultra-light India rubber, titanium, crocodile, and steel. All watches are identified
by the tyre mark, the leit motiv of Pirelli’s Industrial Design project.
