The Ásgeirsson's movie is a combination of a sea thriller and a horror film. It tells about a relation between the trawler
crew members and a woman joining them for one cruise. The author focuses on creating a claustrophobic atmosphere
on the ship and on insightful psychological portraits of sailors. Characters of queer sea dogs are opposed to a figure of a
fisherman, which is ranked heroic in the Icelandic culture.
