Miri City International Deep Sea Fishing Tournament held in Miri offshore water
– Luconia Shoals, had attracted international anglers from China, Singapore,
Hong Kong, Brunei as well as Malaysia. Record catch (2012) for this tournament
is a 61.8 kg giant Grouper.
