The LAPL Annual Crawfish Boil held on April 30 at Acadian
Village was again a huge success!! Fostered under the
guidance of Marlene Meche and Mandy Trahan, the crawfish
boil provided all attending with large, succulent crustaceans,

2007 aapl aNNUAL CONVENTION
The 53rd AAPL Annual Convention was held in New Orleans on June 13 – 16 and
was centered at the New Orleans Hilton on the riverfront. Over 900 landmen and
their guests attended the many meetings and receptions, played golf, took tours,
did some sight-seeing and took advantage of many opportunities to network
and make new contacts. There were many LAPL members in attendance and
all seemed to be enjoying their time away from the office. Some LAPL members
