Gold Medal Plates is the ultimate
celebration of Canadian Excellence
in cuisine, wine, entertainment
and athletic achievement.
Celebrated in ten cities across Canada in 2016, Gold Medal
Plates features superb wines and premier chefs in a competition
to crown a gold, silver and bronze medal culinary winner in
each city, and subsequently nationwide. Founded by
Stephen Leckie and Karen Blair, the goals of the project are multifaceted: (1)
showcase Canada’s finest chefs, wines, beers and spirits (2) a platform to celebrate
Canada’s best athletes (3) to raise funds for Canada’s athletes. Since its inception,
this event has received tremendous support and accolades all across Canada, and
generated close to $11 million for Canada’s Olympic athletes.

Calling all foodies! This is your chance to be on the inside of the judging
process of Gold Medal Plates. Be a part of the meet and greet with the
judges, sit at the judging table and have all food/wine served to you
professionally, discuss and score the dishes with the other judges* and sit
at the judges table at the celebration. See if your choices matched the final
official judges choices! ($1500 tax receipt available if paid for by personal
visa or cheque)
Only two available in every city – $2500 per person
*(guest judges will not be a part of the final deliberation after the competition nor
will their marks count)
