We offer classes, lectures, one-day demonstrations and weekend workshops that teach skills at various levels. RiverArts instructors are talented and experienced artists or artisans who love to teach and work with students of all ages. You’ll meet 54 artists and artisans in their studios, learn about their techniques and treat yourself to great original art at studio prices! Recently he has been adding gold leaf and precious stones to his egg tempera figurative work adding a new and exciting tool for expressing his ideas. > Take Rt 213 south towards Centreville for 5.1 miles. Most of their works are large, site-specific outdoor sculptures, however their studio work includes smaller sculptures, artist’s books and paintings incorporating natural materials. > Take Route 213 south just past Church Hill, right on Island Creek Rd., left at T-intersection onto Land’s End Rd., after about 3 miles, bear right at fork, then take immediate right onto Spaniard Neck Rd., .25 mile to slight right onto Indiantown Farm Ln., then take 1st right; studio is at the end of the lane (1 mile). 27. ROB GLEBE Metal Art Objects 22409 Goose Hollow Drive, Chestertown 410-778-0756 [email protected] www.robglebedesign.com Rob, who apprenticed and worked as a toolmaker, uses mild steel to create open metal vessels and wall hangings. He uses different metal stains and various patinas, always exploring with different techniques and ideas. Currently, Rob is looking to create larger outdoor sculpture and architectural details. > Take Rt 213 north to Morgnec Road, to Rt. 20 toward Rock Hall; proceed about 5 miles to Fairlee exit. Continue to slight right onto Parsons Road, then turn right onto Rt. 298 north. Almost immediately turn left onto Bayshore Road. Continue about 1.5 miles and turn right onto Fairlee Landing Road. Go about 1 mile and turn right onto Goose Hollow Drive. The house is on the right and the studio is in the large shop in front of the house on the left. Her work is further informed by her former career as a nurse. 16 Breon employs a wide range of materials and sculptural processes and her palate includes cast forms made from foundry patterns, forged steel, plaster, wood, found objects, and subway tile. > Take Rt. 20 toward Rock Hall about 5 miles to Fairlee exit.
