Getting Started Account Access • Preferred Browsers: Google Chrome / Mozilla Firefox (MAC Users: Safari is not a supported Browser) • URL: www.myihsonline.com • Choose: “Provider Access” • Enter: Username and Password-(Case Sensitive) • Password Change Recommended: Click on “Profile” > Enter Email Address > Change Password Dashboard Dashboard displays patient information in sections called “Widgets”. The Blue Navigation Bar will guide the user to manage and review: • Active Referrals: Displays current status of both submitted Online Orders and Scheduled Exams to include: Ordered / Scheduled / Canceled / Processed / In Process / Ended exams • Recent Reports: Displays completed exams over past 30 days. View images and Reports in this widget. • Online Ordering: Online Order – submitted electronically. Faxed order not required. • Patient Search: Allows exam search for patients not referred by you/your practice Default Widgets Widget Title Bar Tools Available Widgets • Active Referrals • Refresh • All Un-Reviewed Reports • Exam Priority • Minimize • Today’s Radiology Appointments • Recent Reports • Maximize • Courtesy Copy • Pending Scheduling • Settings/Close • Precertification • Incomplete Radiology Appointments Patient Search Three search scopes are available (in the drop-down menu): 1. My Patients: View patients referred by you. a.To search: First and Last Name are required 2. My Practice Affiliations: The ability to view patients referred from your practice providers. a.To search: First and Last Name are required 3. Emergency/Referral: The ability to search all records from a referring provider outside of your practice. Consults/Referrals, etc. a.To search: First/Last Name and Date of Birth are required b.HIPAA authentication required x2 4. Patient populates to bottom of search window a.Scroll/Choose Exam b.Click to view Report or Images (see below) c.Recommended: Right Click and “Open in New Tab”. Allows easy exam retrieval without re-searching. Viewing Images BLUE NAVIGATION BAR > RECENT REPORTS > OPENS IMAGE VIEWER The images and reports are viewed in the “Recent Reports” widget. Default display period – Past 30 Days. 1. Click the camera icon to the right end of patient data row 2. “Image Viewer” window opens to display exam images Navigating Image Viewer Features/Tools • Bring Image to Full Screen- Two Options: Click F11 function key to bring single image to full screen. Click again to return image to original browser settings Tool Use – Full Screen: Click to enlarge currently viewed single-image view. NOTE: Bringing images to either “Full Screen” mode hides Thumbnails and Toolbar to Menu Tab at Left • History Tab: Located to the LEFT MARGIN. Click “History” to view patient exam history (Verify DOB for every patient exam- similar name duplication does exist). • Menus Tab: Located to the LEFT MARGIN. Click “Menus” to view/hide toolbar and thumbnail series boxes. • Thumbnails: Small image windows appear across top of Image Viewer screen. Each window represents the first image of a series for complex imaging; or “each” static image (e.g., x-ray, ultrasound, mammography). Drag and Drop Thumbnails to any window for series/image viewing. • Toolbar: Located at top right and left margin, provide a number of viewing navigation tools Printing Images Print feature currently works only from Internet Explorer Browser option • Load preferred images for printing to “full screen” using either F11 or Full Screen tool • Click Print Icon Tool from left margin toolbar • Images appearing on screen in Image Viewer will print to associated printer Viewing Reports There are two options to View Reports: 1. BLUE NAVIGATION BAR > RECENT REPORTS > CHOOSE PATIENT a.Click “View Report” to right end of data row 2. BLUE NAVIGATION BAR > RECENT REPORTS> CHOOSE PATIENT a. Image Icon: “Camera with green checkmark” – Click to open IMAGE VIEWER b. Report Icon: “Yellow Notebook Page” Icon – Click to open exam report • Report populates to left side of images Printing Report BLUE NAVIGATION BAR > RECENT REPORTS> CHOOSE PATIENT 1. Click “View Report” to right end of data row 2. Choose at top of Report to print to associated printer Online Ordering Online Ordering allows you to place an online order directly into Imaging Healthcare Specialists scheduling system. (An Online Order replaces your faxed order.) 1. BLUE NAVIGATION BAR > ONLINE ORDERING 2. Click “Patient Find” 3. Enter Patient Info a. First Name b. Last Name c. Date of birth & click “search” 4. Identify Patient a. Correct Patient Populates: Click on Accurate Patient b. System Populates Multiple Same Patient Name & DOB: CANCEL and CREATE NEW PATIENT c. System Finds No Patient Match: CANCEL and CREATE NEW PATIENT 5. Complete Online Order a. Priority - Select “Routine” or “Urgent” b. Modality When submitting online orders: • Multiple Exams / Same Modality may be submitted on SAME ORDER (Example: MRI Lumbar Spine & MRI Brain - OK TO SUBMIT ON SAME ORDER) • Multiple Exams / Multiple Modalities must be submitted SEPARATELY BY MODALITY (Example: Screening MG & Breast US - MUST BE SUBMITTED on SEPARATE ORDERS for EACH SEPARATE MODALITY) Modality identifiers: • MR = MR • CT = CT • CR = X-Ray • MG = Mammogram • US = Ultrasound • PET = PET/CT • • • • • IR =Interventional Procedure NM = Nuclear Medicine RF = Used for Injection Under Fluoroscopy RAD= Radiologist Consult Only OT = Do Not Use c. Procedure: Select per Physician/Provider Order/Request d. Body Part & Laterality: DO NOT USE – No need to populate e. Location: Populates list of locations where the procedure chosen may be performed. Choose location is required, though patients will be scheduled to their convenience and location may be changed unless specified. f. Chief Complaint: Enter Reason for Exam or Diagnosis g. Authorization Number: Enter if applies. Any alpha/numeric text accepted. h. Additional Information: Enter Insurance Plan Name and Member ID#. Any other pertinent Exam requests or patient needs information may be entered here. 6. Completing/Sending Your Online Order – IMPORTANT a. You must click “Next” at bottom of online order page b. Screen will change – verify all order information c. Scroll to bottom of page again and click “Confirm”. If you do not click confirm and receive an online order “Successfully Sent Message” – your order is not complete. d. Click “Confirm” e. Verify receipt of “order successfully sent” message f. Print if desired 7. Order is Received at IHS Electronically a. Patients may contact IHS directly to schedule: 866 558 4320
