1.
To insert an image, click the tree icon in the top toolbar.
2.
On the next screen, click on the “browse” button next to the image
location box
3.
We now provide you with an ‘iFanz Filing Cabinet” so you can upload
and store images and Flash files to use within your emails.
When you click on the browse button above, find the image on your
computer that you want to store in your iFanz account and click the
icon for “upload new image ” in the middle of the top right toolbar.
(If you want to upload more than one image at a time, click on “add
upload” and repeat the procedure)
more…………..
4.
The image will then appear in its original size (we HIGHLY
RECOMMEND sizing your images in iPhoto, Photoshop or an image
editor to 100dpi or medium quality as otherwise they may take too
long to load).
Select Insert Image.
5.
Before you click out of that window, move the “Appearance” tab and
set the position and size of the image as you want it to appear within
the email.
Decide where you want to place the image within the email. The
choices are in a pull-down menu.
6.
Now, decide how wide and tall you want the image. If you check the
“constrain proportions” box, you do not need to worry about
calculating the original size in width and height, just set the width in
pixels and iFanz will take care of the rest.
Hint: since most computers are set to 600 pixels wide, the iFanz
templates are pre-programmed the same. Therefore, if you want the
image to take up half the horizontal space, set it to 300 px, if you
want it to be a quarter of the space, set it to 150 px and so on.
7.
Select “Insert” and as if by magic your image appears in the email.
Make sure you save the preview before you return to you other editing
tasks – servers time out and computers freeze and we would hate you
to have to start over!
