18th Annual IAM Conference 2015
Full Paper Upload: Step by Step Guide
Full papers should be no more than 8000 words maximum.
Doctoral Colloquium papers should follow the same guidelines and format as full papers but may be
shorter. Students can attend the Doctoral Colloquium without having a paper submitted if early stage
in the PhD process. You will need to register in the normal way for the conference.
Symposium presenters do not need to submit a full paper for each presenter unless presenters wish
to do so.
Please note that the deadline for all full paper and Doctoral Colloquium submissions is 5pm (GMT)
26 June 2015. Papers submitted after this date will not be considered for conference best paper
awards (see below).
You must upload your full paper in the Ex Ordo system under “Your To-Dos” at the top of the page
on the Dashboard (“Upload your final draft for <paper title>”) at this link:
http://iam2015.exordo.com/login You will then be taken to the screen below. If you have more than
one paper, you will need to repeat the steps below for each paper.
The steps you need to complete submission of your full paper are listed on the left (steps 1-5). Click
on the “Done – Go to the Next Step button” at the bottom of each screen to move to the next step.
1 STEP 1: Title and Abstract
Title: If you are making any changes to the paper title, please do so at this step.
Abstract: Replace the longer abstract used for the review purpose with your 250 word (max)
abstract. You can simply copy and paste from your MS Word document.
STEP 2: Authors
If you are making any changes to authorship, please do so at this step.
STEP 3: Source Files
You are requested to attach the MS Word version of your paper at this step. Please ignore the
following statement “The chair has requested you to attach all the files used to prepare this final draft”
and simply upload the MS Word version of the paper. The MS Word version should include NO
AUTHOR details to enable the blind review process for best paper awards. The file should include
the paper title, followed by the abstract (250 words max) and full paper. Submit the file using the “+
Upload file” button.
STEP 4: Copyright Authors
Please read and accept the copyright terms by clicking on the check box statement at the end.
2 STEP 5: Full Final Paper (pdf version) Upload
Please use the following guidelines to upload the final paper in Adobe pdf format – please note this
file should include all author details as this file will be used for the conference proceedings:

Please upload an Adobe pdf version of your paper here. The Adobe pdf version
should include in the front page the paper title and author names, affiliations and contact
details, followed by the abstract (250 words maximum) and the full paper.

Formatting:
a. Please use A4 as paper size
b. Times New Roman
c. Size 12 font
d. 1.5 line spacing
e. 1” margins
f. No headers and no footers
g. No page numbering

Any tables and figures should be placed in-text in the relevant paper section.
