Dear Friends,
The Academy of Our Lady of Peace H.S.A is hosting our 22nd annual Tricky
Tray dinner and fundraising event this evening. The Our Lady of Peace community
is truly blessed as you and your friends come out this night to share in reinforcing
the level of unity and dedication our faith based community offers each one of us.
The theme for this year’s Tricky Tray is “Around the World”.
Our annual Tricky Tray gala, allows us to come together to celebrate and
support a part of our lives which we all hold dear to our hearts; our children’s
education. The funds raised will continue to inspire our student body and expand
the educational program within The Academy of Our Lady of Peace.
As we sit down to break bread together during the dinner portion of our
Tricky Tray, we are all reminded of the gift of seeing and helping our students
prepare for the future. Every donation, be that monetary or volunteering your
time, directly supports the children of The Academy of Our Lady of Peace as their
educational path takes they “Around the World;” a journey that grows every year
in every subject.
There is a Chinese proverb that says “If you want happiness for an hour,
take a nap. If you want happiness for a day, go fishing. If you want happiness for
a year, inherit a fortune. If you want happiness for a lifetime, help somebody.” By
contributing to the success of our Tricky Tray, you are helping the most important
people in each of our lives, our children. The Academy continually strives to
provide the optimum environment to inspire your children into become the best
versions of themselves. Every blessing bestowed upon our school by our community
only goes to further us in this effort.
We welcome you all to the 22nd Annual Tricky Tray as we continue to build
memories together. The Academy would like to give a special THANKS to Mrs.
Flood, Mrs. Mazzuca, Mrs. Gagliano, Mrs. Reece, Mrs. Slattery and the entire
tricky tray committee for their tireless work and dedication to making this 22nd
Tricky Tray a fun night, where we all build stronger bonds. We wish everyone an

Around the World
The Academy of Our Lady of Peace welcomes you to our 22nd
annual Tricky Tray event. Tonight, we invite you to take a trip with us
"Around the World".
We would like to thank everyone who helped make this event a
success.
We are so grateful to our families and friends who have
offered us unlimited support over the last few months. Tricky Tray
can only be realized through the generous support of all our Academy
families.
The ways in which we see and explore the world have become
easier and faster than ever before. However, the simple pleasure and
excitement of experiencing new people, places and things have
remained unchanged throughout history.
Traveling to new places,
whether on a plane, in a book or on a computer in the classroom, help
our children appreciate and learn about the exciting world around
them.

adventure. There is no end to the adventures we can have if we seek
them with our eyes open."

TRICKY TRAY AUCTION INSTRUCTIONS
Tricky Tray Auction Tickets will be available for purchase at designated tables.
Auction Ticket values are $2.00 each. Auction Tickets can be purchased in a
variety of options and they can be used on MOST ANY basket! **
When bidding on a basket, please place your Auction Tickets in the can designated
for the basket that you wish to bid on. Please take care when placing your bids
because once you have placed your ticket in a can, it CANNOT be removed!
All cans will be collected at 8:30 p.m. Tickets may be placed in the cans until that
time. One ticket stub will be selected at random from each can. The number of
the winner will be announced. At the conclusion of the event, winners must show
their WINNER’S voucher to collect their basket from the viewing room!
