utstanding cuisine and service can be enjoyed when you dine in any of our facilities. BCC’s
menus change with the season to create variety and interest throughout our menus. Our chefs
select seasonal meats, seafood, and fresh garden vegetables to present your family with a taste
of home. The Club is a great place for a date night, half-priced wine night, or Sunday brunch.
Blacksburg Country Club has the luxury of four different dining rooms with unique, decorative styles. The
Grille is a great place to relax and enjoy cocktails and conversations bar side while watching the big game.
The Grille features casual dining with a 60” television, bar, fireplace, ceiling fans, and fantastic golf course
views. Outside the Grille Room, more than 60 members and guests can dine on our 1500 square foot patio
with breathtaking views. This makes it the perfect summer spot for fresh air and fine food. With seating for
up to 80 people, the Dogwood Room offers a more formal dining experience. This room provides an
intimate and private setting for both Sunday brunch and nightly dinner service. The Founder’s Room is
reserved for private dining, and is ideal for small meetings and other private parties that call for BCC’s
personal touch. Our Family Dining Room is complete with iPads, two televisions and an children’s activity
area to allow for the perfect family dining experience.
Blacksburg Country Club features one of the largest banquet spaces in Blacksburg. Our 2800 square foot
ballroom can accommodate 175 people. The banquet center is equipped with a bar and dance floor.
Four large picture windows along the length of the ballroom create a natural, secluded ambiance. A newly
built 2200 square foot deck overlooks the Club’s 16th fairway as well. Decorations can be coordinated with
the Blacksburg Country Club staff.
Much of BCC’s reputation is carried by our annual social events including Valentine’s Day dinner, Spring

S
pend some family time on a hot summer day in our newly renovated junior Olympic swimming
pool or on the kids splash pad. Cool off while enjoying what life is all about— precious moments
spent together with family.
The swim season at Blacksburg Country Club begins Memorial Day weekend with 80 degree heated water
and the fun doesn’t end until mid-September. The swimming pool is under continuous supervision of an
aquatics director and lifeguards. Private and group swimming instruction is available, as well as our
Barracudas swim team which participates in a local swim league. A fitness room, dressing rooms with
showers, a poolside grille for food and beverages, a playground, covered picnic pavilion, and a basketball
court are available in the aquatics complex as well.
GOLF
B
lacksburg Country Club features an 18-hole golf course,
designed by former president of the American Society of
Golf Course Architects, Ferdinand Garbin. The Club is
known for its peaceful atmosphere and scenic view of the
mountains. The Club has the luxury of two equal and challenging nine
hole courses with a slope of 129 from the championship tees.
The member-friendly layout features forgiving fairways and greens,
and six different sets of tees to match any skill level. The North Fork
of the Roanoke River meanders through the course, coming into play
on several holes, along with approximately 60 sand bunkers. At BCC,
there are never tee times during the weekdays - just come out and
play golf at your convenience.
Our PGA professionals can enter you into our weekly golf events or
provide the perfect lesson to take care of that hook or slice. Private
lessons, beginner ladies clinics, seasonal short game schools, and
junior golf camps are tailored to meet your needs and help get more
from your golf game.
Our men’s golf association has more than 175 members with weekly
play every Wednesday night. The Club also has a very active
Women’s Golf Association, with organized play on Tuesdays and
Thursdays. Our Senior Men’s Golf Association plays more than 15
home and away matches each summer, and Couple’s Golf tees off
every Friday night during the summer and then enjoys dinner on the
patio as the sun sets.
Blacksburg Country Club has the strongest junior golf program in
southwest Virginia. Our juniors participate in the highly competitive
Roanoke Valley Junior Golf Tour and play at other private clubs
throughout the region. In the past decade alone, BCC has produced
five golfers who have been ranked in the top 500 worldwide as junior
golfers. Ten golfers have gone on to play collegiately with eight of
those playing at Division I institutions.
For our youngest junior golfers (ages 3-6) SNAG Golf serves a great
introduction into the game. SNAG, an acronym for Starting New At
Golf, is a unique new approach to learning golf. Specially designed
equipment and easy to understand instructions allows the entry-level
golfer to learn quickly, anywhere! SNAG golf is a year-round program
at BCC and is taught weekly by our professional staff.
TENNIS
I
f tennis is your game, then we

Club! Blacksburg Country Club
features three hard courts with
lights for night play and two Har-Tru

play. The men take the courts on
Monday nights, and the Women’s
Tennis Association plays on
Wednesday nights during the summer
months. Our professional tennis staff
also has lesson times available for
private and group instruction for those
who want to improve their game. Our
BCC Junior tennis program continues
to grow and offers a variety of classes
and activities throughout the year. We
also plan a number of junior tennis
parties, interclub matches, league play,
