DataVision 7000 is a powerful scanner
for the inspection of printed sheets
produced on any type of printing system with a maximum capture area of
70×100 cm. It has been designed
particularly for printing environments
where a high level of quality control is
necessary such as industrial packaging
and security printing.
Ergonomically designed for easy operation, the DataVision 7000 includes a
robust air suction table that ensures
paper fl atness and consequent perfect
image capture. Checking of each sheet
is done in a minimal amount of time
enabling a maximum number of sheets
to be scanned for each job order.
Designed and developed 100% by Kern,
the heart of the system is its powerful
comparison software which can take
into account all the adverse scenarios of
any printing process, e.g, offset, fl exographic, letterpress, intaglio etc.
It can detect differences when comparing the master sheet to the copy from
0.3 mm, thereby ensuring correct printing of all types of image including bar
codes, OCR, and, with the installation
of special lights, also Braille.
