DAY 1 – Depart USA
Overnight flight to Europe
DAY 2 – Arrive in Historic Prague
Considered by many to be the most
beautiful city in Europe, Prague is the city
of Kafka and the place Mozart loved best.
The city is also home to three historic
opera houses, the Czech Philharmonic
and several chamber orchestras. Enjoy a
welcome orientation dinner before settling
in for the night at your hotel. (D)
DAY 3 – Prague’s Old Town &
Historic Jewish Quarter
Our historic walking tour of Prague will
start at its center, Wenceslas Square. We
continue our stroll to Prague’s most famous
landmarks. En-route to the Old Town
Square, we’ll see the illustrious Estate
Opera House. Our journey continues to
Prague’s stirring medieval Jewish quarter.
After enjoying a traditional Czech lunch,
the afternoon is yours to further explore

DAY 4 – Charles Bridge & Prague Castle
After breakfast, we make our way past
Charles University to Charles Bridge. We’ll
cross the very river that lends its name to
Smetana’s symphonic Czech masterpiece,
the Vltava. Then we’ll ascend the hill to one
of Europe’s most impressive castles: Prague
Castle. A UNESCO World Heritage site, it
consists of a large-scale composition of
palaces and ecclesiastical buildings of var-
ious architectural styles, from Roman-style
buildings from the 10th century through
Gothic modifications in the 14th century. A
classical concert is included this evening!

DAY 5 – A Day in Quaint Bavaria /
Board the MS Amadeus Elegant
After a leisurely morning in Prague, we depart the city for the Bavarian countryside.
Enjoy an afternoon in the charming village
of Passau before boarding the Amadeus
Elegant. The ship casts off in the late afternoon and takes you through the series
of scenic bends along the Danube known
as the Schloegener Schlinge. A welcome
cocktail party and dinner will be served on

After, enjoy an evening panoramic tour of
Vienna before boarding the ship. Ship departs for Bratislava at midnight. (B,L,D)
DAY 7 – A Full Day in Bratislava
In the morning the ship reaches the historic
capital city of Bratislava, which was founded over 2,000 years ago. Now the capital
of Slovakia, it was the capital of Hungary for
a while during the Renaissance. A sightseeing tour will cover the city’s major sights.

DAY 6 – A Day in Vienna: Guten Tag!
This morning, we’ll cruise past charming
villages and lush vineyards. After an early lunch, we arrive in the city of Mozart
and Strauss. You’ll spend your day in the
legendary home of Strauss, Mozart, the
Habsburgs and the Waltz! Accompanied by
a local expert, learn why Vienna in the 18th
century was the musical capital of Europe.
Visit Mozart’s house where he composed
the Marriage of Figaro. After, you will have
a guided tour of the Beethoven Pasqualati
House.
Enjoy a private evening concert in the
very chamber where Mozart himself first
performed in Vienna as a young man.
DAY 9 – A Morning in Budapest &
North to the Danube Bend
Spend a leisurely morning in romantic
Budapest. May we suggest an excursion
to a local neighborhood outdoor market
or, why not soak up the healing warm
waters in a nearby historic bath house?
It’s up to you! After a relaxing morning
spent exploring Budapest, we cruise
north towards the historic Danube Bend.
Sit back on the top terrace and watch
the world float by as we cruise north.

DAY 8 – Full Day & Night in Budapest
We arrive in Budapest, the capital of
Hungary, during breakfast. This afternoon
we’ll enjoy a special tour of the Liszt
Ferenc Memorial Museum. After your
tour, enjoy an included concert. We’ll take
a special cruise after dinner, passing the
magnificently floodlit buildings on both
sides of the river and under the illuminated
Chain Bridge. (B,L,D)
DAY 10 – Vienna
Cruise the Danube and arrive in Vienna
after an early lunch. This afternoon, you’ll
enjoy a private tour of the Vienna Fine Arts
museum and Wiener Musikverein (home to
the Vienna Philharmonic). Depart Vienna

DAY 11 – Salzburg: A Day with Mozart
Journey past the town of Linz through the
wine producing Wachau Valley en-route to
Wolfgang’s Salzburg. Enjoy an included
walking tour with local historians and relive
the life of Mozart. See the very house
where Mozart was born on January 27, 1756
and stroll through the charming alleyways
of this Baroque jewel. Join your host this
evening for a special farewell feast. (B,D)
