Dear Supporter,
The Terry Fox Memorial Park committee is undertaking the construction of a restroom /
change room. This project will be jointly funded by the RM of Riverside, the Province of
Manitoba Community Places Grant, and local funding by the Terry Fox Memorial Park
committee. The estimated cost of this project is just over $42,000.
The community of Ninette offers a beach and park area that many townspeople and
visitors have come to enjoy. The fact that there are currently no public facilities, limits
the usage of the area for many people. The addition of this restroom / change room will
add the potential for increased growth and tourism to this area, which benefits the entire
community including local businesses.
We are looking for your financial support with this community project, as well as local
volunteers to help with construction, and donations of time / services from tradesmen.

Monetary donations of $25 or more will receive a charitable tax receipt
Donations of $250 or more will receive recognition on a plaque to be mounted on
the building
Donations of $500 or more will receive enhanced billing on the above mentioned
plaque
Any revenues raised over and above the cost of this project will be used towards the dock
structures at the park, as well as the construction of a swimming platform.
