My favourite film of all time is The Lizzie McGuire Movie . I´ve seen it
more times.It is a comedy movie. It first appeared in 2003. The director
was Jim Fall.The film is just over 93 minutes long. This movie is from USA.
The story is about a girl Lizzie, who goes on holiday to Italy with the
school. She falls in love with popstar Paul, who uses her to harm Isabel,
who sings alive and she wants to start solo singing, but Paul sings with
playback. He tells her the opposite. Paul wants to use Lizzie. When Lizzie
learns to sing and dance, her friend with Isabel tell her the truth.
Together they humiliate Paul.
I like the film because the story is very funny, interesting,it´s about
love and music is very good. The acting is very good, really best actresses
is Hillary Duff ( Lizzie ), who in the end sings together with Isabel. I don´t
like the character of Paul. The theme of the film is funny. It´s about a
fabulous dream.
Main idea of the film is, that Paul wants to use Lizzie to harm Isabel.
In the end Lizzie together with Isabel harm Paul.

INTRODUCTION: My favourite film of all the time is High school musical. I´ve seen it for
four times. It is a very interesting film. It first appeared in 2006. The director was Kelvin
Ortega. The film is just over one hour and half long.
STORY: On Chirstmas holiday Troy sings with Gabriella. While sing he falls in love. Troy is
a basketball player and Gabriela is very clever. They enter a competion for musical. Only on
the same day, when they the competion Troy has a basketball match and Gabriela has a
everything decathlon. Troy wins the basketball match and Gabriela wins the decatlhon. In the
end goes well and they kiss each other.
MY OPINOIN: I like the film, because the story is very interesting. The acting is great, the
music is very good and the special effects are average.
CONCLUSION: The theme of the film is interesting. Everyone can watch it.

Bathory
My favourite film is Bathory. I’ve seen it once in the cinema, but it was
really good. It is a historical drama. It first appeared in 2008. The director is
Juraj Jakubisko. The film is 140 minutes long.
In the film, main character is Erzébet Báthory ( Alžběta Bathory). Her
husband, František Nasády fights in the war with Turks and she on her own
suppervises the family’s fortune and at the education of her children. Her
husband sent her a present in the form Italian painter Merisiho Caravaggia, who
stays on her courtyard for a few years. He and Alžběta are in love. But in this
time she is in danger , because somebody thinks that she is a murderer of young
girls and that she baths in their blood. In the end Alžběta Bathory is arrested in
her castle until the end of her life.
I like the film because the story is exciting and interesting. The acting is
good and the special effects are OK. But I don’t like some ghostly scenes.
The theme of the film is important. It shows that nobody knows if Alžběta
Bathory was a victim or a murderer.

THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA
My favourite film is The devil wears Prada. I saw it on DVD at home with my
friends on holiday. It is a comedy drama film. It first appeared in 2006 in USA.
The director is David Frankel. The film is just over the 109 minutes long.
The stars of this film are Anne Hathaway, Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt, Adrian
Grenier, Stanley Tucci and many more. The film is about a young
newspaperwoman Andy. She gets a new work in journal Runway. She is an
assistant of general editor Miranda Priestly. She is ugly and that’s why they
want to fire her. Work is nerve-racking and she is hasn’t more time for her
friends and boyfriend. Her friends and boyfriend worry about her. She becomes
a beautiful woman and on her official trip in Paris she cheats her boyfriend with
a famous actor. She leaves her work and her boyfriend splits up with her. She
finds a new work and she tries to begin a new life.
I like this film because the story is about fashion and the story is funny. The
acting is good. But there is too litle music. I like films with more music.
The theme of this film is fashion. The main idea of this film is transformation
of a young ugly girl into a beautiful woman.

Introduction: My favourite film is Bridget Jones´s Diary. It‘s a comedy which first appeared
in 2001. The director was Sharon Marguire.
The story: Thirty-two years old Bridget Jones is starting a new year with lots of resolutions.
For example: lose some weight and find a love. But her diary is full of disasters. She is a
master of flubs. She falls in love with her boss Daniel Cleaver, but after some time she
discovers he has got another girlfriend and he is engaged to her. She leaves her work and
finds a work in TV news.
She progressively falls in love with her old enemy Mark Darcy. He helps her to get special
reportation work. But Daniel Cleaver tries to get Bridget back and he fights with Mark. But
Bridget is angry with both Mark and Daniel and she is again alone. Mark is going for work to
America, but he returns to Bridget and, after embarassing discovery of her diary, they are
lovers.
I liked this film very much.The story is good,but in the middle it is a little boring,
everything else is very good. Bridget’s embarassments are funny and nice. I recommend this
film to you a lot.

My favourite film is Eurotrip. I´ve seen it with my friends for about five
times. It is a comedy and also a love story. It first appereared in 2004. The
director was Jeff Schaffer. The film is just 88 minutes long. The stars are
Scott Mechlowicz, Kristin Kreuk, Lucy Lawless, Jacob Pitts, Michelle
Trachtenber, Travis Wester, Jessica Böhrs.
Mike wants to visit his penfriend Scott. Scott thinks that Mike is a boy
but he is a girl. When Scott gets lovely e-mail from her (him), he thinks Mike is a
gay and he doesn´t want to see him. When he finds out his mistake, he sets off
with his friend Cooper and twins Jenny and Jamie to Mike to Berlin. During the
way they meet English hooligans,take a ride in Paris, travel to erotic Amsterdam,
lose the way to Bratislava, and they make a scandal in Vatikan city. All world
thinks, that pope has died, but everything is solved and Scott finds Mike.
I like this film because it is very funny and adventurous. Story is very
exciting. The acting is very good.
The theme of the film is for teenagers and adults but it isn´t for children
because in the films there are erotic scenes.

My favourite film is Hoodwinked. I´ve seen it a lot of times! It is an animated comedy
movie. The directors were Cory Edwards and Todd Edwards. The film is just over 80
minutes. This movie is from the USA.
This film is about Hoodwinked and her grandmother. Robber rabbit wants take by stealth
all recipes from forest and he wants to be a ruler there, but Hodwinked and gradmother
stop him and save all forest and all recipes. At finally Hodwinked becomes a special agent
for forest police.
I like this movie because it is very funny and dramatic. The acting is good, but the real
stars are the drawn characters. The special effects and music are good. I like some songs
from this film.
To create this film was very good idea, because it isn´t a normal story about Hoodwinked,
but it is about a modern Hodwinked. The theme of the film is interesting and funny. This
film will appeal to young people, but perhaps appeal to older people and amuse both.

My favourite film is the Simpsons movie. It is a cartoon
comedy. It first appeared in 2007. The film is 87 minutes long.
In the film Homer pollutes the lake and Springfield is closed
to the cupola, but the Simpsons family escape and they live in
Alaska. But they decide to save Springfield and they save it.
In the film the story, acting and music is very good. In the
film one of the main ideas is that nature pollution is very
dangerous. In the film I like the funny story and the jokes.

MY FAVOURITE FILM
My favourite film is Taxi, it is a good comedy. I ´ve seen for two
times. It is the fourth part and it first appeared in 2007. It is a French
fim. The director was Gérard Krawczyk. The film is 91 minutes long.
The film takes place in Marseile. In the film taxidriver Daniel has a
tuning taxi and with the policeman Emilien they arrest a Belgian
robber. Policeman Emilien is a big loser. Daniel is specialist on cars.
Together with police they solve the robbery.
I like the film because it is a good comedy and in the film there are
good cars. The special effects are great and actors and actresses are
also very good.
In the film you can see that robberies is not a good idea.

My favourite film of all time is NARNIA. I´ve seen it at home with my parents
and brother for about five times. It is a fantasy, family, adventurous and action
film. It first appeared in 2005. The director was Andrew Adamson. The film is
just over 120 minutes long.
Main characters of the story are four children, brothers and sisters: Lucinka,
Edmund, Zuzana a Petr, who get from war to one old provincial house, where they
discover entry to the other world. In house they play hide and seek and with the
help of magic wardrobe they get to other world. NARNIA, where the children
are, is a glamorous and peaceful country populated by speaking animals, elves,
fauns, sagittarys and giants who are due to wicked bad white witch Jadisy
condemned to the long cold. Children are under the control of noble and
mysterious monarch, lion Aslan. They take courage and face the powerful witch
to save the empire forever.
I like the film because the story is interesting and suprising. The acting is
good. The special effects are amazing. But I didn´t like some scenes with
violence in the film.
The theme is that brothers and sisters save the empire of Narnia.

My favourite film-Harry Potter
and the Order of Phoenix
My favourite film is Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix. It is a fantasy film. The
director is David Yates. I saw this film last holidays in the cinema. The film is 127
minutes long.
In the film, main characters are Harry Potter and his friends Ron and Hermiona.
Harry Potter returns to the school in Hogwarts and goes to fifth class to school of
witchcraft. Most of magicians don´t believe his last meeting with lord Voldemort. The
minister of the magic appoints the new teacher for the defence against dark arts. In the
lesson of profesor Umbridge the students don´t study new things that is why students
don´t have enough knowledge to fight against dark arts. Hermiona and Ron appeal to
Harry that he should teach them. So he starts a small group called „Dumbledore´s
army“. Though a student too, he prepares the young wizards for a dangerous battle.
I like the film, because the story is exciting and interesting. The acting is good.
The special effects are amazing. There isn´t anything, that I don´t like about the film.
The film shows that the good will always win.

Dodgeball
A True Underdog story
My favourite film is Dodgeball. I have seen it eight times, but first time I saw
this movie about one year ago. It is a comedy. It first appeared in year 2004.
The director is Rawson Marshall Thurber and the main actors are Vince Vaughn
and Ben Stiller. The film is 92 minutes long.
In the film, Peter LaFleur and White Goodman are enemies. Peter has a gym
- Average Joe’s. The gym is old, unsuccessful and its customers are only
losers. But White has a successful fitness centre- Globo gym. Peter has to pay
50 000 USD - a debt to the bank, when he doesn‘t pay on time, his gym will be
handed over to White. So Peter and his friends go to the competition in
dodgeball, where the winner gets 50 000 USD. So they ride to Las Vegas to the
dodgeball tournament. But there appears White with his team. Peter‘s team is
winning matches with the help of a champion Patchese O´Houlihana. But in the
final they play against Globo gym. Over all obstructions Average Joe’s wins
the tournament and at the end they get the fitness centre - Globo gym.
I like the film because it is very funny. The actors and the story are great, as
well as the music.
The film shows, that from untried players can become winners when they
work hard. This movie is a good relax.

Introduction:
The film SHREK 2 is a comedy, and I have seen it many times on TV, VHS, and cinema.
STORY:
The story is about a green oger, and his true love, princess Fiona. They are living in peace, in the
swamp, with their faithful friend Donkey. But one day, a vry srang man comes, with a scroll,
where is a letter for Fiona from her parents.
So, they decide to go to the kingdom of FAR FAR AWAY. Fiona parents aren‘t so happy, when
they see their daughter with an ugly oger. The king makes a trap for Shrek, the oger killer, Puss
in Boots. But Shrek and Puss come to be really good friends, and they go to find a potion for
Happy ever after. They meet Fiary Good Mother.They steal the potion and Shrek, Fiona and
Donkey be come new people. Fiary Good Mother‘s Son, prince Charming, betrays Fiona and he
wants to marry her. Shrek saves Fiona and they are again together.
IN MY OPINION:
I really like the story, special effects, acting, music and the ending. The film was so perfect, so there wasn‘t anything I
dislike.
CONCLUSION:
I think, the theme, and the meaning of all three part of Shrek is, that love will always find its
way.

The Simpsons movie is a cartoon comedy, which first appeared on 27th July 2007 (by the way it is in the
logo of the film). The film is long 87 minutes.
This movie is about the Simpsons family, and about the whole town of Springfield. All is begining in the
concert of Greenday, which is in the Springfield lake, where is dirty water. The water is melts the stage,
where is the Greenday playing. All the band members are dead in the lake. Thereby the mayor of the
Springfield Joe Quimby forbids to waste anything to the lake. But Homer Simpson breaks this ban.
Thereby Russ Cargill the director of the EPA closes Springfield to glasshouse. The Simpsons family
escape to Alaska. Homer likes the land, but Marge wants to return to Springfield, because the bomb is
located there.
In the end Homer throws out the bomb, and the glasshouse explodes. Nobody is injured.
The film is really good, because I am fan of the serial story of the Simpsons family.

MY FAVO
URITE FILM – AMADEUS
My favourite film is Amadeus. I´ve seen it many times. It is a drama and a
historical movie. It first appeared in year 1984 in USA. The director was Miloš
Forman. He is Czech and a lot of people, who worked on the film, are Czechs
too. The film is just over 160 minutes long. The film got 8 Oscars.
The film describes life of ingenious harmonist Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
The narrator of plot is Mozart´s rival, average musician Salieri. He speaks about
Mozart´s arrival to Wien, about his charisma and fantastic music, but also about
his childish character and his profligate living. He also describes his hate to
Mozart and rage, when people like Mozart more then him. In the end of film,
there is a brilliant scene of Mozart´s death and his funeral.
Why I like the film? Because I like Mozart´s music and his life is very
interesting. The actors are very good. Especially F. Murray Abraham as Salieri
and Tom Hulce as Mozart are fantastic. There is also good story and camera. I
like the film all the more, that there is a Czech director and other Czech people.
In the film I don´t like only some historically inaccuracies.
I think, the theme of film is interesting, because most of us know Mozart´s
music, but not him as a person. Some of the viewers will maybe discover, that
classical music is very beautiful too. It also shows, how is human hate
powerful.
