Race Day Registration will close at 8:30 a.m.
All entries after Nov. 13 and race day entries are $30
and does not include a shirt! Registration by Nov. 10
will guarantee a shirt on race day. Additional shirts are
$20 each. No shirt ordered for entries after Nov. 10.
Packets will be available for pick up November 24 from
3-7pm at the Floyd county 4-H Grounds and on race
day starting at 7:30. ** Check website for additional
sites/times.
The Course
The Five Mile (starts 9:00 a.m. sharp). The race will
start at the 4-H Grounds on Green Valley Rd. Go north to
Mt. Tabor Rd. East to Grant Line Rd.; south to the entry of
Peden (Community) Park; through park to Schell Lane;
south to Daisy Lane; west to Green Valley Rd.; north to
finish at 4-H Grounds. Although we have security, THIS
IS NOT A CLOSED COURSE!
The walking course (starts 9:05 a.m. sharp) will start
at the 4-H Fairgrounds; go east on the Pedway to
Community Park, loop the lake and return back to the
4-H Fairgrounds. Ribbons will be given to all finishers.

** All Awards must be picked up on race day!**
To Floyd County 4-H Fairgrounds from 1-265:
Using Exit #1/State Street, go left on State St.
to Daisy Lane (light). Turn left on to Daisy Lane to
Green Valley Road (light). Turn left (north) at Green
Valley and proceed to 4-H on right. Using Exit
#3/Grant Line Road, go South on Grant Line Road
and turn right (West) on Mt. Tabor Road at the light.
Follow to Green Valley Road and turn left (South).
Follow to 4-H on the left.
Five Mile Run Only:
Merchandise awards will be presented to the top overall
male and female finishers. Distinctive coffee mugs will
be presented to the top three finishers in each of the
following age groups (male and female respectively):
14 & under; 15-18; 19-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44;
45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-69; 70 and over.
One award if 3 pre-registrants per group. Three awards
if 5 pre-registrants per group. First 500 finishers are
guaranteed their name on the 2011 race shirt.
All participants eligible for door prizes!
Cash prizes are available for those eligible. $25 will be
awarded to race leaders at each mile (providing they
place in the top 5 in gender).
