this large Mediterranean Island (second only to Sicily in size among all Mediterranean Islands) is among the most beautiful

scattered allover the island...” Sardinia has been inhabited since the Palaeolithic period, although there are not many traces left
from that period. Since the Neolithic period Sardinia produced flourishing diversified cultures , that have left their traces in
numerous monuments and handicrafted artefacts. The Nuraghi are the typical elements of this mysterious and extraordinary land
hide behind their majesty, the carming enigma of a past over 3500 years old. The numerous nuraghi which are spread all over
Sardinia, occupy a very relevant place among the archeological sites that have been left in the Western Mediterranean basin by
the various cultures wich have, over the centuries, lived in these lands. These majestic buildings have a prominent role in the
Sardinian landscape and are a symbol and emblem of a whole population.

THE EXCURSION
This tour will take you on a fascinating route to the hinterland.
First stop at the Nuraghe Prisgiona, a typical monument prèistoriques of Sardinia, dating from the Bronze Age (XI – VI
century BC Christ).
The monument has the shape of a tower, a truncated cone , built with huge stones barely squared . Throughout the centuries
the building was enlarged with walls, towers .
The judgment includes a brief tour . The itinerary continues through Arzachena, and to the tomb of giants Coddu Vecchiu ,
which is a mass grave of the era of Nuraghi , so called causes of huge stones that compose it, and which recall the menhirs.
10 minutes off for the visit and comment, Then we will reach a local winery for a tour and a wine tasting.
Afterwards transfer to A local farmhouse for a delicious Sardinian lunch.
THE WINERY
The winery where we will do the tasting was conceived as a meeting point between art and nature. A structure characterized
by transparent facades and walls of local stone that blend with the earth through a modern, able to enhance the scenic beauty
of the more than 40 hectares of v ineyards from which the wines Surrau. A unique place where tradition meets hospitality to
offer the visitor an unforgettable experience. The wine cellar offers wine tasting tours fascinating fact, a Wine Boutique for the
purchase of wine and a room dedicated to the vernissage and temporary exhibitions of contemporary art.

LUNCH In A FARMHOUSE
This farmhouse is a beautiful farm and restaurant located at 18
km from the sea, in a magical setting of cork trees,
Mediterranean oaks and granite where traditional cuisine lives
happily along with a high regard for quality and details is an
active farm milking sheep and goats besides keeping pigs, wild
boars, chicken and producing a large amount of honey, and the
basic ingredients for our homemade liquors and v getable
conserves. Most of these products are then transformed on the
farm into pecorino cheese, ricotta, salami, hams, or go towards
the preparation of the different specialties.
SARDINIAN MARKET
At the country-style restaurant we can organize a
Sardinian Market. It means the exhibition of several local
artisans that demonstrate the preparation of some basic
local products like decorated bread, pasta, baskets,
cheese, cork objects , musical instruments, ceramin.
Guests can admire them right at the arrival or
immediately after lunch.
Excursion by the little train of Sardinia
Sardinia has an unforgettable coastline, but the interior of the island is equally beautiful. A fun way to explore it is aboard the
Trenino Verde (Little Green Train), a vintage locomotive e that puffs its way through forests, over bridges and through tunnels
into some of the island’s most scenic mountain areas. The narrow gauge train tracks were laid in 1888 to serve e the more
isolated areas of Sardinia, and the picturesque restored train and Locomotive is just as old. The train runs on scheduled
routes, connecting Sassari and Palau. This amusing excursion on the Sardinia's old train, in exclusive e use for a fascinating
ride, will take you for a journey back in time. On Board of the train two guitarists will entertain the guests with songs of local
tradizioni. Transfer by bus (20 minutes) from your hotel to Arzachena station where you will board the train. During the
excursion stop will be organized for a delicious snack at open air on a panoramic point on the Liscia lake.

Tempio Pausania is a country situated in the heart of the Sardinian region called “Gallura”, which was
famous already at the time of the Romans, because of its precious stone: the granite. Here in Tempio you
can find this typical restaurant, completely made by this ancient stone. You will be able to taste both
galluresi dishes and other specialties of tipical Sardinian and fish cooking, made by using local fresh and
genuine ingredients, in a country atmosphere, surrounded by a flourishing vegetation
.

The most beautiful Archipelago in the world
The islands of the archipelago lie in one of the most
seducing seas in the world.
Luxuriant Mediterranean vegetation and rare essences.
Moreover, beaches, bays, small bays, gorges, and very
white or pink sands; granitic rocks shaped and dug by the
raging and purifying wind of a sea where dolphins and big
fishes swim.
The archipelago is known all over the world as a territory of rare beauty and a
particular naturalistic, historical and cultural value. The establishment of the
National Park will without a doubt set off the safeguard and the enhancement
of all the resources of the territory.
Regatta
A truly entertainment day whereby the crystal
Sardinian waters provide a perfect environment
inwhich having fun and developing relationships with
your team whilst enjoying the cut and thrust of racing
in a fleet of several boats. We will use different kinds
of sailing boats accommodating from 8 – 10 guests
per boat.
In the morning you will board the boats in hotel
(boats will wait in front of hotel, if necessary guests
will be embarked by the help of some zodiacs).
Each boat will have his own skipper, and depart for a
real regatta spreading for approx. 2 miles out in the
sea, going round the islands and finally end at the
boat moorings.
The task of the guests will be to help the skipper to
steer the sailboat in the best way, in order to obtain
the best score.

During navigation, the boat of the jury will be able
to record the times of individual vessels in order to
introduce, in the end, the winner of the competition.
Regatta through Porto Cervo, Pevero bay, Romazzino and Liscia Ruja (itinerary 2)
We'll sail along the incredible coastline that
goes from Poltu Quatu to Cala di Volpe doing
a very panoramic regatta. From the boats
you will see the harbour of Porto Cervo the
beautiful bay of Pevero all the luxurious
villas and resort of Costa Smeralda and the
wonderful beaches of Romazzino and
Capriccioli.
According to the wind you will stop in a nice
bay forswimming. At the end of the
competition you will reach Cala Petra Ruia
