Leisure Buddy Program
The City of Port Coquitlam makes every
effort to make our programs accessible
and inclusive to the entire community. To
ensure the safety and enjoyment of all
participants and staff, we ask all parents to
read the following information.
Children require additional support for a
variety of reasons. Program Camp leaders are responsible for the safety of the entire camp
group and strive to provide positive experiences for all children. Leaders are unable to focus
extended periods of time on the specific needs of one child therefore it is important to note
that what may be routine and habit for some parents may present as a challenge for our
instructors.
Parents registering children who require additional support in any of our programs are
asked to complete the Leisure Buddy request form available at any customer service
desk or www.portcoquitlam.ca/access. Completed forms can be returned to any of our
customer service desks or e-mailed to Ali Vrzal [email protected]

Engaging and interactive bike camps include equipment and safety
knowledge, hand signals, progressional bikes skills utilizing a variety
of obstacle courses and equipment. Bike themed crafts, cooperative
activities, RCMP Community Bike Patrol visits and a walking trip to
the Terry Fox Library to learn more about bikes will contribute to an
