Intentionally organized to start later, this tour provides
a leisurely start to your day, or time for that morning
walk or exercise class!
Sit out on the nets and top up your tan while feeling
the invigorating seaspray or find a shady spot to chill
and enjoy the refreshing sea breeze as she sails down
the Caribbean coast.
Relax on board the motor yacht as she heads down
the Caribbean coastline. As the towering Pitons come
into view, prepare to disembark in Soufriere, known
as the “breadbasket” of the island due to the diverse
vegetation and crop production
On the short land excursion which starts at the
Soufriere dock see all the sites of the area, the
Sulphur Springs, the beautiful Botanical Gardens and
take a dip into a refreshing natural waterfall pool. After
this, enjoy a visit to a plantation complete with a local
buffet lunch.
Back on board take a swim or go snorkeling when
the Cat pulls in to one of the bays along the
Caribbean coast. (Snorkell gear is provided). Enjoy a
little Caribbean music and Rum Punch while turning in
Marigot Bay en route back to port.

During the short land tour visit the drive-in volcano,
before enjoying a tour and local buffet lunch at
a working plantation followed by a leisurely walk
through the Botanical Gardens and Diamond Waterfall
and Mineral Baths, with time for a quick soak in these
therapeutic waters originally commissioned by
Louis IVX .
Settle back on board for the journey up the coast,
visiting Marigot Bay en route and enjoy a rum punch
as the end of the day approaches and the sun heads
towards the horizon, with that return later in the day
allowing you to catch the sunset.

An exciting day for the entire family!
The name of this tour is Creole for “A bit of
everything”… and that’s what you get: sail to
Soufriere, see the Pitons, Drive-In Volcano, before
heading to Morne Coubaril Estate where you’ll learn
about some of our history and culture. Before lunch
enjoy a stroll around the estate, or if interested, go zip
lining! - this optional activity carries an extra charge
payable at time of booking.
The regular Soufriere trip on board a replica Pirate
Ship - Liana’s Ransom - but with a bit of fun !!
Enjoy the Creole buffet lunch, prepared using some of
the provisions produced on the estate. Then its back
to the boat for the sail up the coast allowing time to
swim and snorkel (gear is provided) before heading
back to port, taking a turn in Marigot Bay en route,
as the day winds down the party winds up...try your
dance moves to the latest Caribbean rhythms.
Visit the Diamond Waterfall, Botanical Gardens and
Volcano, then back to ship for where a buffet lunch is
served, before heading to the swim stop.
Children get the opportunity to get dressed up as
“pirates” and get their faces painted. (Sword, eye
patch and bandana are on sale on board). Have fun
looking for treasure. Guests can learn to fire the 4
black powder cannons, swing from the yardarm and
walk the plank - if desired !

A fun way to end a day in the Caribbean!
Soufriere Mud Baths

Experience the healing of a natural sulphur spa!
Ride down the west coast by powerboat to visit the
Sulphur Springs Park located in the town of Soufriere.
There you are in the middle of a dormant volcano (the
last recorded eruption in 1766). The most famous
spas around the world use Sulphur to create mud
baths and facial mud masks, here you can enjoy it in
its natural state. The water of the springs is quite hot
but soothing, making it a great stress reliever. Simply
gather a handful of sulphur from the bottom of the
spring and massage the gray wonder into the skin, let
it dry and shower off. Then head back on board & take
a cooling dip in the sea on the speed boat trip back.

Search for the flash! Either in the eyes of that special
someone or towards the horizon as we look for the
green flash as the sun sets in the West.
What better way to close the day than spending two
hours on the Caribbean Sea relaxing on board the
spacious 18th Century Replica of a square top sail
gaffed, rigged schooner: Liana’s Ransom.
Enjoy hors d’oeuvres and drinks (fruit punch, rum
punch, sodas, champagne and rum mixes) while
listening to the sound of live steel band on board as
the evening sets in. Return to port approximately 7pm.

See this spectacular coastline both ways by Jeep!
Visit the Sulphur Springs and take a dip in a natural
waterfall fed by forest streams before continuing on
to the botanical Gardens and Diamond Falls for a
guided tour. Then it’s on to an 18th century working
estate for an optional short tour before tucking in to
a buffet lunch.
After lunch a short drive down to the dock to board
the boat for the return journey. Enjoy snorkeling or a
swim in the cool Caribbean Sea, then get the camera
ready as the boat pulls in to make a circuit of the
picturesque Marigot Bay used as a location for many
films including Dr Doolittle, arriving back at the Marina
in the late afternoon.

This tour offers a choice on the land portion of the
tour – travel by air-conditioned bus or open topped
Land Rover. Both options combine in Soufriere for the

For those of you who just don’t enjoy being on the sea
but want to see all the sites, this tour is put together
with you in mind. Travel on open topped safari jeeps
down the picturesque Caribbean west coast road
passing through banana plantations, fishing villages
and some pretty dramatic landscapes enroute to
Soufriere. Visit the Botanical Gardens and Diamond
Falls for a guided tour, then on to the Sulphur
Springs….lunch is then served at an 18th century
plantation. The jeep will then make the journey
back up the west coast after first dropping off those
returning by boat at the jetty. A brief stop will be made
at Marigot Bay before returning to your hotel.
Jeep Explorer Safari

A great way to experience a tropical rainforest!
Getting there is half the fun! Travel by open topped
land rover through the rural countryside leaving all
civilization behind. Enjoy the diverse landscape,
discovering banana plantations and a fishing village,
eventually arriving at the edge of the river from where
the 15-minute riverside walk commences. The hike,
which necessitates actually crossing the riverbed (and
so getting your feet and or trainers wet), leads to a
waterfall framed with tropical vegetation. Take a few
minutes to sit on one of the river boulders and take in
the atmosphere, or take a refreshing dip in the cool
waters of one of the natural rock pools.
After the trek back to the jeep enjoy a drink on board
before traveling to the village of Anse la Raye for a
refreshment stop and free time to take a walk around
before heading back to your hotel.

This tour takes you through the Capital of Castries
and includes a brief scenic tour to all these little out of
the way places that you may not get to on your own,
before visiting the local market. A chance to also see
how some things are made, and in some cases an
opportunity to purchase at factory prices. No pressure
though!
During the tour you will see the process of silk
screening on to beautiful household table linens and
personal items at Bagshaws, learn the art of batik
used to create Caribelle’s unmistakable wraps and
other souvenirs, and watch a sculptor at work with
wood, at Eudovics.
Then on to duty free Pointe Seraphine where all the
more traditional items can be found - visit the rum
shop, or the many different well-known and reputable
jewelers brands, pick up some local art or enjoy a
cool drink while your significant other looks for that
special item.

This easy going tour unfolds through the N.E. of
the island, driving through rural countryside before
enjoying a 30/40 minute walk through a heritage
site, discovering the various trees, plants and some
species of birds before sampling freshly picked local
fruits. In the “Creole house” see how some local
dishes are made with an opportunity to taste.
The drive on to the distillery passes through the
countryside during which your guide provides an
insight to the history and culture of the different
communities.
The distillery tour is more than a lesson in how rum
is made, you gain an insight into the role it played in
the community as well as an opportunity to visit the
“carnival room” for your own mini carnival experience.
The culmination of the distillery visit is the tasting bar,
where you can put your tasting skills to the test on

Last but not least is a stop at Marigot Bay with time

You can find so many different ways to take in the
Rainforest experience but to get the most enjoyment
out of it, from all that will be offered to you, speak to
your rep and make sure to: Get all the information,
about the tour. Ask questions, don’t assume anything.

To really enjoy the experience it is necessary to be
sure you make the choice best suited to your level of
interest, physical fitness and available time.
Descartier Trail Rainforest Walk

A unique way to experience a botanical paradise...
Picked up by bus in the early morning the initial part
of the journey takes you to a coastal area on the south
east of the island before heading inland to the edge
of St. Lucia’s most pristine Rainforest for a three-hour
circular trek.
The official Forestry guide will take you on a 2.5 mile
trail deep into St. Lucia’s interior; see the wonderful
verdant forest which provides shelter to hundreds of
species of, plants and endemic wildlife, and a definite
possibility of seeing the rare birds, especially the St.
Lucian Parrot.
Listen out for the warbler’s melodic call and the parrot’s
startled squawk, and take in the forest aromas of fresh
mosses and perfumed barks. Reflect on it all over
lunch at a nearby restaurant.

A scenic journey by open-topped land rover, will take
you to the outskirts of the Western Rainforests, close
to Soufriere, where the exhilarating 3-hour trek of both
descending and ascending many steps begins, taking
you deep into the heart of the rainforest.
Keep a lookout for rare parrots while your Forestry
guide points out some of our fascinating flora and
fauna as you descend. Time to relax and refresh at a
beautiful waterfall and natural pool before climbing
back up the hill to meet your vehicle and head off
for a well deserved buffet lunch.
Cross Island Rainforest Walk

If you enjoy the satisfaction of knowing you walked
from coast to coast you will love this tour…
Enter the rain forest on the Eastern edge, after a
drive down the Atlantic coast road. Then, after a walk
through the tropical rain forest crossing the backbone
of the Island (lasting about 3 to 4 hours), you emerge
on the Western edge.
A short ride over adventurously rugged roads takes
you for a restorative dip in the natural hot waters
of the Sulphur Baths, to ease those tired muscles.
Time to shower off and change before heading to a
plantation for a well earned lunch before a wind swept
boat ride back up to the North of the Island. Wow!

The exhilarating canopy
adventure begins with a drive down the Atlantic Coast
turning into the Island interior towards the canopy
base at the edge of the rainforest. After the safety
briefing you are geared up and ready to zip through
the 12 runs between platforms, each providing a
unique view of the tropical forest and river. Trained
guides are stationed at each platform to assist
throughout the course. This tour is for adventure
lovers and does not demand physical strength.

Most people say the idea of the view from the top
is what kept them going on this exhausting but
exhilarating climb of Gros Piton…one of St Lucia’s
iconic landmarks! The view and satisfaction of making
it to the top did not disappointment them although
the muscles ached the next day as much from the
descent as the ascent!

Off road cycling on jungle like trails...
Take a ferryboat ride down to Anse Mamin one
of the bays located close to Soufriere. At the skill
course training area get outfitted and practice your
off road riding skills. Head out on the sun-dappled
trails through an abundance of vegetation passed
18th Century French Colonial ruins and a volcanic
swimming hole.
Casual lunch is served at the beach so bring your
swimsuits along and take a dip in the sea to cool off
before catching the boat back up.
Island ATV Adventure

You need a valid Driver’s License to take the ATV
(all terrain vehicle) tour !
On this guided tour, you will be riding your own
personal fully automatic 4-wheel drive ATV off the
beaten track through some varied landscapes. Feel
the energy of the wild Atlantic coastline and wind
swept beaches.
After the safety briefing and practice session you will
be outfitted with protective gear: helmets and safety
goggles, before your guide escorts you on designated
tracks set along the rugged Atlantic landscape. A few
brief photo stops to catch your breath and that special
moment before heading down to the beach for a short
swim and drink stop.

cetaceans, look out for pods of Spinning, Spotted

rolling hills of Cap Estate featuring a panoramic view

For those of you who are repeat visitors and have
already done the more popular tours, or looking to see
something of the island, but without the “maddening
crowd” this half-day boat and land tour provides a
really relaxed afternoon experience.
An opportunity to visit the Hotel Chocolat resort at
Rabot Estate in Soufriere, owned by the renowned
British cocoa grower and chocolatier. Look at the
cocoa in the bean stage, where you experience Bean
tasting, de-shelling, grinding, and recipe formulation,
as well as mixing, and pouring to make your very own
chocolate bar!
Head back down the trail, at the end of which you
will be treated to some fresh local fruits and juices.
Then a very short drive before relaxing while enjoying
an afternoon cocktail and canapés, while soaking in
yet another incredible vista high from the deck of the
award winning resort of Ladera, nestled high on to the
mountain ridge between the Pitons.
While the tempering (setting of the chocolate) is taking
place, you will enjoy a delectable cacao cuisine lunch
at the world class Boucan restaurant, while taking in
the fabulous view of Gros Piton.
After lunch time to collect your personally made

Cruise down the west coast to Soufriere, and then
travel by land to the shoulder of the Pitons where you
start a 45 minute walk to one of the most splendid
viewing points in St Lucia. While not strenuous the
walk takes you over some areas of uneven ground,
and incorporates some steps to reach a truly fantastic
up close view of Gros Piton, and subject to the level
of cloud cover an almost 360degree view of St Lucia
right down to the Lighthouse at the Southern most tip.

just a 90 minute boat ride across the channel from the
Rodney Bay Marina in the N.W. of St Lucia. Board the

open deck and top up the tan during the crossing.
On arrival in the capital city Fort de France you
can disembark for a couple of hours to enjoy some
shopping or a walking tour of the historical old town.
Once back on board enjoy a sumptuous BBQ in a
quiet bay with time to swim or snorkel before heading
back - looking out for the dolphins that often come to
escort the boat out in to the channel.
Remember: A Valid passport is required for all

Airport shuttle
A 10-15 minute flight between the airports (North and
South) – Cut travel time and really get a wow factor

Island Tour
A 30-minute flight taking in ALL the sites from

Change of Programs without Notice
The itineraries and tour programs may change, as
may type of aircraft. We will do our best to notify you
in advance of any such changes, where possible.
Substitutions of a similar nature may be made in
these cases.
Cancellation of Tour by SunLink Tours
Should any tour be cancelled by SunLink Tours
because of weather, mechanical defect or any other
circumstance beyond our control, a full refund will be
made and this will constitute the limit of liability on
our part.
Cancellation by Guest
Cancellation less than 24 hours prior to departure will
result in a 75% cancellation fee for
Air Tours and 50% for Land Tours.
Children
The discount for children varies depending on the
individual tours.
On some tours we are able to offer a 50% discount to
children between the ages of 2 and 11. Any discount
is on the basis that the child will occupy foldable seats
on the minibuses if a full fare-paying adult requires a
fixed seat.
Tipping
Tipping is very common throughout the world, but
here in St. Lucia it is not something that is openly
asked for. If you feel that the tour guide and driver
have given you an excellent service, then by all means
show your appreciation by leaving a few dollars
