our core ethos, which is to build

on Ibiza’s exquisite, natural heritage, using local stone and materials, planting indigenous trees and
flowers and taking the simple lines of
the island’s traditional architecture as
the inspirational starting point for all
our designs. Private – because we have ensured
that the homes in The 33Calaconta
Collection benefit from a magnificent
gated site and embrace the Mediterranean tradition of building around a
discreet central patio that brings the
outside inside while remaining utterly

Perched magnificently around the
complex’s highest perimeter is The
Calaconta Collection. Designed to merge seamlessly with
the environment and to draw a sense of the sea and sky inside, these
exceptional homes are the jewels in
33Calaconta’s crown. The design is pared down and unpretentious, inspired by Ibiza’s simple, traditional, linear architecture,
stretching as far back as Phoenician
times. Each spacious double storey
home is built around a central patio,
incorporating a more exotic, Mediterranean influence so that even the
heart of the home feels open to sky,
rain and nature. Generous, internal
gardens, abundant with palms and
flowering vegetation, give all the
rooms a soothing green vista and the
feeling that the elements are part of
the home’s internal daily rhythm. Bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms are
on the upper floors while all the main
living areas lead out onto the patio
on the lower floor. Both storeys have
superb views outwards as well as
absorbing all the patio’s green vitality
inwards.
In perfect harmony with Ibiza’s local
character and to reflect its natural
palette, the designers have carefully
chosen only indigenous materials,
like local Mares stone, marble, wood
and iron. The Mares stone has been
locally extracted so that walls and
landscape blend effortlessly, again
blurring the distinction between inside and outside. Using stone also
reinforces 33Calaconta’s eco credentials, ensuring the homes are naturally insulated and therefore cool in

BUILDING SPECIFICATIONS / Information
33Calaconta project has been designed with quality shining through
as the main characteristic; quality
in the materials used and quality
in the installations provided. Respect for the environment has led
us to equip our homes with rainwater recovery systems with tanks
that collect the water for re-use on
the gardens, greywater is passed
through a treatment process so it
can be re-used to fill toilet cisterns
and geothermal energy is used to
power domestic central heating
systems. All the materials used are
made from products of the utmost
quality. The technical specifications may be subject to change
as a result of technical, legal or
administrative requirements or
following a decision by the architect and works manager. However,
such changes will not affect the
level of quality.
FOUNDATIONS AND STRUCTURE
Isolated or continuous footing foundations out of reinforced concrete in
accordance with the design project
and the geotechnical site investigation. The basement walls (provided
that the house comprises such a
basement) shall be built with reinforced concrete and they will be
sealed off with waterproof sheets
which are protected by drainage
sheets. Structure made out of oneway or two-way framings or reinforced concrete floor slabs according to the design project. In some
cases structural steel pillars are
used to optimize the spaces. The
whole structure will be sealed off,
insulated and developed according
to the applicable regulations.

Inverted flat roof which is nontrafficable in the areas that will not
be used as terrace. Finish with quarry gravel in different colours and with

that these are natural products with
specific characteristics as regards
performance and aging.
