Paralympic Games: The Paralympic Games are similar to the Olympic Games, where athletes from different countries around the world come together to compete against each other. The main difference and unique aspect of the Paralympic Games is that all athletes have an impairment, most often physical or visual. There are also three sports (swimming, athletics and table tennis), that include competition for athletes with an intellectual impairment. Athletes must meet the qualification standards of their sport to be able to compete in the Paralympics.
