Welcome to Newland Street, Morgan! YOUTH J.A.M. TODAY Our Youth Group (Jr. High through College-age) will travel to the Beaumont Church of Christ this afternoon for the August Youth J.A.M. (Jesus And Me). The theme for this month is Judgement with the emphasis scripture of Matthew 7:1-5. Dinner will be provided, and you may see Jazmin Haver for more details. Parents and Grandparents: Please encourage your children to be involved in this good activity!! WEDNESDAY NIGHT FAMILY MEAL CHANGES Our Wednesday Night Family Meals will resume this coming Wednesday night, Sept. 2nd….with a twist! Our new schedule will be as follows: Each 1st, 3rd & 5th Wednesdays will be Family Meal Nights at 6:00 p.m. If anyone would like to plan and carry out meals on the 2nd and 4th weeks (on a regular basis), dinner will be scheduled on those nights as well. If no one volunteers to take on the 2nd and 4th weeks, we will enjoy “Bring Your Own Meal” dinners on those Wednesdays. If you have any questions, or are interested in preparing meals on the “off” weeks, please see Eldon Thorp. WEST COAST LADIES’ RETREAT INFO Ladies, our Retreat at the beautiful Oak Glen Christian Conference Center is less than a month away (Sept. 25-27) and we are requesting everyone planning to attend to please submit your registration and payment as soon as possible so preparations and room assignments can be made. We are starting a brand new unit of lessons and this is a perfect time to jump into this amazing ministry.
