NATALIE HOWARD
We want to welcome our new Assistant Youth Minister, Natalie Howard, to Saturn Road. She recently graduated from Oklahoma Christian University
with a degree in Family Studies and Vocational
Ministry. She will be working with our teenage girls
and will assist in youth ministry planning and
events. She has interned here for two summers
and loves this church family.
NEW CURRICULUM FOR JUNIOR HIGH AND HIGH SCHOOL
This year our high school and middle school groups will study “The Story” curriculum and will be taught by Adam Herndon, Wes Talley, Phillip
Hardin, Craig Barnes, and Ricky Broussard. On Wednesday night, our
entire group will be in small groups with their grade level.

ZUMBA CLASS - All ladies are invited to our Zumba class which meets each Monday at
7:00 PM in the Teen Center. The charge is $5.00. Our certified instructor is our very own
Brenda Tellez. Please join us for some great exercise.

BIBLE SCHOLAR OF THE WEEK
BIBLE SCHOLAR OF THE WEEK - Congratulations to Barbara Oberg! She was the first to
respond with the correct answer to our Bible Trivia Question which was in our online bulletin email last week. In case you missed it, the question was, “What priest had the boy Jehoash proclaimed king, causing the death of wicked Queen Athaliah?” The correct answer was
“Jehoiada.”
BIRTHS
Congratulations to Cole and Melissa Hervey on the birth of their son, Ryder Lee Hervey,
who was born on September 27. Ryder weighed 8 lbs. 4 oz. and was 20 1/2 " long. Mom
and baby are now at home and are doing well. Proud big sister is Hayden.
Congratulations to Dustin and Jeni Penland on the birth of their daughter, Ava Jane Penland, who was born on August 20. She weighed 6 lbs. 11 oz. and was 20" long.
OUR SYMPATHY IS EXTENDED TO
JoAnna and Scott Marshall and their family on the death of JoAnna's grandmother,
Lorene Garland Green, who passed away on September 26. Funeral services were October 3.
Jack and Virginia Titlow and Gary and Julie Titlow and their family on the death of
their niece and cousin, Kylee Mize, who was killed in an automobile accident on September
25. Funeral services were October 1.

GriefWorks, the free grief support group for children ages 5‐18,
has grown so much…we’ve added another mee ng night. And
we need your help!
Volunteers are helping us to provide comfort food dinners to grieving
children and their family members before each GriefWorks session. Cur‐
rently we need addi onal volunteers to help provide these comfort food
dinners to 20‐25 people on the Tuesday nights of September 16, October
7, October 21 and November 4.
You, your Bible class, church, or service organiza on can help out by:
Preparing a full meal and delivering it to GriefWorks (kid‐friendly foods
consis ng of a main dish, sides such as salads or fruit plates and a
dessert)
Dona ng to pay for one GriefWorks meal ($125 per meal)
