DC-12V Brushed Traction Motor
Motor technology for RC Locomotive traction applications
Description
The DC-12V brushed motor is a
general purpose motor designed for
railway models of typically 5" gauge.
The motor features high temperature
windings and a large heavy duty
commutator. The armature is epoxy
balanced and supported by ball
bearings at both ends,
The brush gear is built on a glass
fibre board, both being supported by
brass holders.

Specification
The DC-12V motor is the perfect
match to be used with the Mtroniks
range of DCi speed controllers where
the maximum motor current can be
set at a safe level using our ‘True
Torque’ current limit preset.
