Monthly Ministry Guide July 2014
CONNECTIONS Monthly Ministry Guide July 2014 Membership Check Official List Can Be Found At The Welcome Center To make certian there are no surprises on the day of the vote, all members are being asked to confirm their member status by verifying their name on our current member list. After many months of prayer and seeking God’s direction for Trinity Church, we are anticipating the presentation of the new Senior Pastor candidate in the very near future. The pastoral selection process is nearing its completion and we encourage each Trinity member to pray even more diligently and contribute to the pastoral calling process through voting. With the upcoming Congregational Meeting and vote, our constitution is clear that only official “members” (those that have attended First Base, been interviewed by an elder and approved)are able to cast their vote. To ensure we are compliant with our constitution, we will be asking members to check-in as they pick up a ballot. The list will be located, Sundays, at the Welcome Center, through July 6. If your name is not on the list and you believe you are a member, please contact Lisa VanGreuningen, x111. Your information will be given to the elders for further research. Did you know that we post all the songs we sing on Sunday morning to our website? In addition to linking to iTunes and getting lyrics, you can now listen for free on Spotify. www.trinityonline.org/playlist MINISTRY INDEX All-Church Focus 4 Children’s Ministries5 College - Praxis 7 Disability Ministries11 Family Ministries9 FAF12 Fuente de Vida12 High School - Kaleo6 Men’s Ministries9 Micah House 12 i - Childcare thru age 4 Middle School - Elevate6 Mission Ministries11 Senior Adults - FiftyPlus9 Singles - CrossWalk7 Small Groups - Koinonia10 Support Groups10 Women of Trinity8 Worship Ministries12 Young Adults 7 OUR MISSION We are a community of Christ followers, longing to glorify God by loving God, loving people, sharing the gospel and serving the world. 8 - Online registration 2 July 2014 Sunday Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday June Rock Climbing (Middle School) 6:00-9:30 pm Intense Bible Exploration Begins (Middle School) 9:00-11:00 am S.L.A.P. The collection will be on Sundays at the kiosk between services. We are looking for new, good quality backpacks (Jansport, High Sierra, etc.) and specific school supplies: • Crayons • Markers • Colored pencils • Pencil sharpeners • Composition books • College-ruled notebooks Watch for an insert in the bulletin this month giving you a list of the specific needs. You can take the shopping list with your family to the store and shop for someone else, which is a great way to teach your children the principle “It is more blessed to give than to receive.” If you do not have the time to go shopping $40 will cover the cost of buying and distributing a backpack to children in our community who have a need, let us do the shopping for you. Make your check payable to “Trinity Community Foundation.” Thank you for your support of Micah House.
