Engine Overview
After its initial introduction in April to the European and Asian markets, the HP1150 personal monochrome LaserJet® printer was
made available in the U.S. Basically a non-chipped version of the HP1300 (April 2003), the 1150 is available in only one configuration,
and is targeted at small work teams and business users with advanced printing needs as a low-cost alternative for the laser printer
market.
The HP1150 print speed is rated at 18 ppm for letter (17 ppm for A4), compared to the 1300’s 20ppm (19ppm for A4). Both the 1150
and 1300 have a first page time out of under 10 seconds and a resolution of 1200x1200 REt. Both feature instant-on fusing for a fast,
no warm-up delay. The 1150’s all-in-one UltraPrecise print cartridges are available in a standard-yield (2,500-page) and a high-yield
version (4,000-page). Advanced micro-fine dual polymer toner formulation offers crisp, sharp printouts.
The 1150’s cartridge exterior differs from that of the 1300 only in compatibility tab configurations. Where the 1300 has one tab on the
left end plate and two tabs on the right end plate, the 1150 has one tab on top of the waste bin and no tabs on either of the end plates.
These tabs interface with switches inside the printers for cartridge identification. Internally the 1150 and 1300 seem very similar, possibly using many of the same components.

Static Control® has released the 12 mm Mag Roller Press which allows
remanufactures to safely and securely insert and remove the magnet of
qualified 12mm mag rollers: the HP1000, HP1100, HP1150, HP1200,
and AX.
Constructed of heavy-duty aluminum, the 12 mm mag roller
insertion/removal press is designed for non-stop performance in
demanding recharging operations. A new rubber liner facilitates the
gripping action and reduces the possibility of over clamping which can
damage the mag roller sleeve. Predrilled mounting holes make it
convenient and easy to secure the press to your work surface.

Static Control® engineers have developed a new, patented seal with increased rigidity
for a simple one-step installation process. The tear away tab provides a built-in tool to
make installation quick and easy while creating less waste than standard stabilizers.
The stable base material makes accurate placement a snap. Newly discovered adhesive
with excellent strength prevents leaking. More importantly, it adheres so completely
to the base material that there is no residue left on the cartridge when the seal is
removed. With the performance pull ribbon which resists narrowing, this is the seal
of choice.

HP1000/1150/1200 Pin Removal Kit
Like many of the newer HP cartridges, simply pounding the pins into the cartridge is not an option because it ruins the cartridge. Static Control has
developed a method that allows you to remove the pins without worry.The Pin
Removal Kit includes a Plexiglas® hopper jig to hold the cartridge in place. A
metal fixture has been designed to set on top of the cartridge and is clearly
marked to ensure that you drill in the correct place. The drill bit has a collet so
that you drill to just the right depth. Drilling too deeply can ruin the cartridge.
The curved pin removal tool allows you to neatly push the pins out of the cartridge. This kit takes the guesswork out of drilling and allows you to remove the
cartridge pins safely, every time.
