NOTABLE STUDENT Samuel Camarillo| Mexico| Doublebass Performance My name is Samuel Camarillo and I’m from Acapulco, México. I highly recommend coming to the U.S. and studying at UNT for many reasons. For starters, the University of North Texas provides students with an excellent level of education and is one of the largest universities in Texas. I also recommend UNT because students have many opportunities for scholarships and financial aid. As an international student, I could apply for the Mexican Waiver, which allows students born in Mexico to pay In-state Tuition. One of the best things about UNT is that you can get in touch with people very easily. There are many organizations in which you can meet other people and help your community. I chose UNT because it offers students with necessary tools to succeed.
