Sweet Pea leases Lindley Park from the City of Bozeman for the
Festival dates and a wristband is required for admittance. Wristbands must be worn around your wrist and be visible at all times
while inside Lindley Park. Admission sales are the Festival’s
primary source of financial support.

FESTIVAL RULES & GUIDELINES
We want everyone to have a great time at this year’s Festival so
please take a moment to review some guidelines that will assist us
in making everyone’s experience an enjoyable one.
• Your admission wristband must be worn around your wrist
and visible at times. Sweet Pea is not responsible for lost or
stolen bands.
• Pets/animals are not permitted at the Festival.
• Firearms or weapons of any kind are not permitted at the
Festival.
• Alcoholic beverages (outside of the Beer & Wine Garden) are
not permitted at the Festival.
• Smoking is not permitted on Festival grounds.
• Bicycles are not permitted inside the Festival. Please take advantage of the bicycle valet located at the Central Bridge Gate.
• Cash and checks are accepted at all the admission gates.
• Credit cards are accepted at the Buttonwood gate only.
• If you have lawn chairs, please sit to the side or back of performance venues so people sitting on blankets may see too.
• By entering the Festival you grant permission for Sweet Pea
to use photos or video with you in them to be used in future
marketing.
• There is limited access for mobility assistance due to the natural landscape of Lindley Park.
• No solicitation is allowed.
• As a courtesy to artists and the audience, please keep noise
and conversation to a minimum in performance areas and
quiet your cell phones.
• Lost and Found (including children) is located at the Headquarters Tent

Get free chalk from 9:30-10:30 at the Sweet Pea Office (424 E. Main St.) or
during business hours at participating downtown businesses (look for flyer
in window). Show your love of Sweet Pea and decorate between Grand and
Broadway! New for 2016: Professional chalk artist Bill Spiess will create an
original 6’x9’ artwork at 104 E. Main Street (in front of US Bank).

Stroll down Main Street and enjoy the offerings of over 40 restaurants and
food vendors while being entertained by local musicians.
Bozeman Running Film Fest • WED 8/3 • 8:30-10PM
The premiere of “THE HARD WAY.” Meet Bob Hayes, an 89-year-old who
runs 30 races each year, cuts firewood by hand and does things the hard
way to remain active and alive. A selection of short films will open the
event. Grab dessert from The Bite and come to the intersection of Main and
Bozeman to see all the films on the giant outdoor screen.

features the Kris Lager Band.
Juried Art Show • SUN 7/31-TUE 8/30
The Sweet Pea juried art show will once again be held in the beautiful Bozeman Public Library’s Atrium Gallery. The show will feature a diverse collection of artwork, ranging from watercolor and oil paintings to photography
to low-relief sculpture.

Sellers, her influences range from Led Zeppelin to George Jones and
Ralph Stanley. Aubrie’s sound has been called “garage country.”

Dance to this 10-time Grammy Award winning band, with its combination of American blues, Texas Swing, and traditional fiddling.

Speaking through his drums, PaaKow’s captivating and danceable

One of Shakespeare’s most hilarious works, “The Comedy of Errors”
is set in 1950’s New York — an urban cityscape ideal for getting lost. A

“A consummate storyteller,” says The New York Times about Odds
Bodkin. Carrying a large repertoire of folk tales from cultures around
the world, an extensive collection of Greek Myths, American and New
England folklore, ghost stories and teaching fables, performing them all
with live original music, character voices, vocal effects and narration.

family-friendly radio shows highlighting genres from radio’s golden

music and live sound effects.
The Kaleidoscope campers bring their high energy to the stage in this
nostalgic tribute to the “Rockin’ 1950s” — complete with poodle skirts,
malt shops, fan clubs, and cruisin’ Corvettes.

To celebrate the 100 anniversary of the National Park Service, we’ll
take a special look at poop — and the animals of Yellowstone National
Park that create it! Of course, we’ll have the old favorite activities, too
— and a few new ones as well!

Co-directed for over 20 years by the supremely talented husband and
wife team of Soren Kisiel and Katie Goodman, the Camp Equinox kids
return for another fun-filled display of talent and energy.
Leapin’ Louie is a master of physical comedy, trick roping, fancy whip
cracking, juggling, and unicycling – his high energy comedy will leave
you laughin’ yer boots off!

ADULT PAINTING WORKSHOP (Pavilion)

In this free workshop taught by local contemporary impressionist oil
painter, Loretta Domaszewski, adults (14+) will create their very own
painting. Loretta encourages self-expression and provides step-bystep instruction. All materials will be provided. SIGN UP AT 12NOON
EACH DAY. WORKSHOP IS LIMITED TO 30 PEOPLE PER DAY. (If
more people sign up, spots will be decided by lottery drawing.)

Come support your local Bozeman Lions Club at the Pavilion near the
Cypress stage. They will be serving pancakes with an assortment of
fresh toppings and some great local coffee! Cost is $5 per person.
