Annually, hundreds of Yarmouth volunteers donate their time to the Festival to help raise money for over 35 local non-profit organizations, churches, and school groups. As you enjoy the entertainment, shop at a craft booth, participate in a competition, buy a T-shirt, or eat a clam, you are helping our entire community. We sincerely thank you! Everyday Events & Activities Craft Show Our juried Craft Show on the NYA Lawn offers a selection of handmade crafts in every price range created by more than 140 artisans. Friday & Saturday 10am-9pm; Sunday 10am-5pm. Information Booths are located on Main Street beside Memorial Green and on the NYA Lawn. A bulletin board at Memorial Green lists daily Festival events and race results. Official Clam Festival T-shirts, hats, posters, postcards, and other items are available. Free Belgian Horse Drawn Wagon Rides along Main Street. All aboard at Village Green Park. Friday 12-3pm; Saturday 10:30am-12pm & 4-7pm; Sunday 10:30am-12:30pm & 2-5pm. Admission is free! 11:30 am Jeezum Crow This Portland, Maine, band plays a mix of original songs and covers of rock, Americana, country, folk, and rockabilly music at the NYA Tent. Face Painting daily on the Library Lawn by the Yarmouth High School Playmakers Drama Club. 12:00 pm Mountain Emergency Tight harmonies and creative instrumentation characteristics of bluegrass at the Memorial Green Tent. Jack Streeter Juggler, unicyclist, entertainer will be roaming the grounds Saturday and Sunday for impromptu performances. 12-3:00 pm Free Horse and Wagon Rides All aboard at Village Green Park. Yarmouth Alumni Association is calling all Clippers! Alumni, sail by the tent next to the Library driveway, say hello to fellow alums, and register with the Yarmouth Alumni Association if you have not done so. First Parish Church Docent-led Tours of the authentically restored 1868 church will be offered on Friday and Saturday at 11am and 3pm; Sunday at 11am. Free Entertainment is provided all weekend at four locations: the Entertainment Tent at the North Yarmouth Academy Stage, on the Memorial Green Stage, on the Serendipity Stage on the First Parish Church Lawn, and on the Kids’ Area Stage. Carnival by Smokey’s Greater Shows, Inc. is next to the Rowe School. Open Wednesday & Thursday 5-11pm; Friday & Saturday 10am-11pm; Sunday 11am-5pm. A favorite part of the Festival, our juried craft show has a fine selection of jewelry, clothing, collectibles, pottery, wood carvings, and other handcrafted items created by over 140 artisans for every price range. The Festival’s jury consists of a panel of independent experts in various categories of arts and crafts. The jury selects crafters based on the following criteria: authenticity of handcrafted workmanship, originality and individuality, design excellence, executional skill, attention to detail, and professionalism in presentation.
