(Locations on detailed map inside.) • Free lot at DeLorme (Route 1) all weekend with shuttle service to the Festival Center. • Shuttle buses run 9am-11pm Friday & Saturday, 9am-6pm Sunday. Safety and Security Lost and Found: Lost items and children should be brought to the Information Booth at Memorial Green. First Aid is located at the Log Cabin on Main Street between Key Bank and the Route One overpass. In the interest of public health and safety, NO PETS ARE ALLOWED at the Clam Festival. Service animals are welcomed. A Message from the Chief of Police The Yarmouth Police Department joins the Chamber of Commerce in welcoming you to Clam Festival. We ask for your support in keeping the weekend fun and safe for all. The PSO Meets the Mallett Family Saturday 7:00 pm American folk classic Garden Song, performed across the US, Canada, and Europe. He is one of America’s true original troubadours. The Mallett Brothers Band is a nationally touring country rock and roll / Americana band from Maine. Their fourth independently released album, Lights Along the River, has just been released and marks a high-water point as the band charges forward into 2015. The show is July 18, 2015, at 7PM at the Yarmouth Clam Festival. Come early, set up your chairs, have dinner, and enjoy the show that will culminate with our largest fireworks show ever. We Recycle Please use our recycling containers available throughout Main Street and on Memorial Green. Thank you to CÉVON for recycling our used cooking oils, ZERO FOOD WASTE for taking our compost, and the Yarmouth Lacrosse team for taking our cans! • Over 40 musical acts and entertainers will perform on four stages. A Special Thanks • Over 180 crafters, artists, and photographers from Maine and New England display and sell their work. Clam Festival Steering Committee 2015 • Ten miles of electrical wire is run to power the Festival. • The Festival’s mile-and-a-half, hour-long parade has over 130 floats, marching bands, antique cars, and unique entertainers from all over Maine and New England. The parade draws thousands of spectators that line the entire length of Main Street. • The Clam Festival used to be the Firemen’s Field Day and the Firefighter’s Muster is a well-preserved tradition attracting firefighters and spectators from all over Maine and New England. • More than 6,000 pounds of clams, 6,000 lobster rolls, 2,500 pancake breakfasts, 2,000 shore dinners, 400 homemade pies, and 6,000 strawberry shortcakes are expected to be consumed at the Festival. All are washed down with over 13,500 Lime Rickeys (a favorite Festival beverage). • Saturday evening features a spectacular fireworks display that lights up the Yarmouth sky. • The Festival mascot Steamer the Clam was created in 2004. The human inside the shell is a wellkept secret.
