Live Auction
1. All signed bids are binding, and all sales are final.
2. Payment by the successful bidder for auction items must be made immediately following the auction.
3. Descriptions of the items have been made with every reasonable effort to describe each correctly, but all
items are sold "where is" and "as is" and without warranty or representation of any kind as to the
correctness of description, genuineness, authenticity, quality, or fitness for any purpose.
4. All auction items and services must be used within the time limits stated in the guide or at the time of
auction, or within one year of purchase and are subject to the terms and conditions stipulated by the donors.
Cruises, dinners and trips must be arranged directly with the donors at a mutually convenient date and are
subject to availability. Winning bidders are expected to take special care with the property of private
donors.
5. The auctioneer shall determine the winning bidder and may reopen the bidding at his discretion in the case
of a discrepancy.
6. All items have been donated to the SPCA of Hancock County Benefit Fur Ball and are sold by it and not by
the donors. Purchasers may not ask for refunds or exchanges from the donor.
7. All items are non-transferable.
Silent Auction
1. The Silent Auction will begin at 5:30 p.m. Items will be available for viewing and bidding until 7:30 p.m.
2. Silent Auction bids are to be made by placing your sticker, which includes your name and bid number, on
the bid sheet next to the amount you wish to bid.
3. The highest bidder on any item becomes the purchaser of such item at the full amount of his/her successful
bid.
4. Bidding for the Silent Auction will close by 7:30 p.m.

the SPCA of Hancock County. No items can be released without payment. Special arrangements may be made for
large items to be picked up between 8:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, July 15th. Please see Bethany Savage
Klyver for assistance between 7:30 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. on the night of the benefit.
