A Harris Interactive survey of more than 3,000 hiring managers and HR professionals, recently released by CareerBuilder, indicates that 36 percent of companies surveyed will hire contract or temp workers this year, up from 28 percent in 2009. Forecasts for holiday/seasonal hiring look good, says the National Retail Federation. It predicts retailers will hire up to 500,000 seasonal workers in 2012. What does all this mean? This person will create/edit/modify small programs; work with minimum supervision; experience working with large components (3500 lbs.); establish and maintain data sheets and maintain material traceability; perform daily routine maintenance on machinery and equipment. Compliance with all rules and regulations regarding safety and Company policy; must be mathematically inclined. PAYROLL SPECIALIST/PAYROLL MANAGER - Overall responsibility for processing multi-state bi-monthly payroll for the company using ADP including time and attendance, employee master file maintenance, set up of earnings and deduction codes and check distribution.
