FEBRUARY 2016 MASTER’S MESSAGE Lodge Ap Now Available Keep in touch with Lodge activities and members. Install the Lodge Ap on your smart phone. Includes roster, messaging, news feed, calendar. Email Secretary or Master to receive link or go to http://bit.ly/wisdomlodge on your smart phone to download and install February is upon us and we will start to see a progressive increase in Lodge activities! In January we focused on the 1st degree with a practice, hosting the District School of Instruction, and having a 1st degree conferral to welcome our newest Entered Apprentice. In February we start to have some activities outside of Wednesday evening. We will see the traditional Sweetheart’s Brunch occur on Sunday February 21st. It has been planned by Worshipful Brother Sal Sciortino and Brother John Parcher and it promises to be an outstanding event. It will return to The Castaways Restaurant and there will be a special gift for all ladies in attendance. Monday, February 7th will see the Rainbow Girls that serve at our Stated Dinners hold their Installation of Officers at the Glendora Masonic Temple and it provides an outstanding opportunity to support these enthusiastic girls. With the Rainbow installation upcoming as well as my resuming my business travels, it brings to mind some of the wonderful benefits of membership in the Fraternity. I have many memories from attending Masonic activities overseas. I have had the privilege to do this more than once while traveling and the fraternal courtesies extended by the brethren of the Lodges I have visited have left an enduring positive memory. NAME Neal Hammond DAY 01 Richard Harrison PM 02 Mark Flint PM 07 Walter McCormick 02 Levon Kederian 10 Jack Michael 16 Fredrick Schaefer Avo Asdourian Daniel Harvey 13 16 19 Roland Castelar 21 R. Bruce McCallum PM 25 Leon Saliba 22 It is also through the experience of looking for Masonic activities while traveling that led to finding a small Rainbow Assembly in Australia that I have the pleasure to visit on my travels down under. As a small Assembly that is nearly 1,000 miles from the next , the impact we can have by supporting their meetings and functions makes a strong impression on these young ladies knowing that a Mason from 8,000 miles away thinks the Assembly is important enough to support when in town. I encourage you to consider visitation at Masonic Lodges or other Masonic activities as you travel. There are also numerous opportunities to expand your Masonic experience locally and in March there will be a few to consider. You will find details of these activities within this issue of the Beehive. Of course along with these activities available outside the Lodge, I encourage you to look at the Lodge sponsored events that will be upcoming both on Wednesdays and on weekends. Fraternally, Mark S.
