May 2014 Trestle Board The Master's Corner Brethren, Greetings from the East! I would mention something wonderful about spring again as I did back in April, but the rampant pollen and allergies leave little to be continuously desired. Regardless, I would like to take this time to thank the Senior and Junior Wardens for their hard work in the Committee of Charity in creating a wonderful charity fundraiser and social event this coming Saturday, May 17th. I am very proud of all the brethren who are making this possible, and especially to Brother Jim Ringley and Pigzilla for BBQ catering (12pm-­‐
4pm). The Red Cross will be at Excelsior Lodge for a blood drive (10am-­‐2pm) as well, and there will be plenty of food to go around! Come out, enjoy yourselves, bring friends, and support Whitestone and the Oxford Masonic Home for Children! On a slightly sadder note, please keep our Tyler, Brother Bill Sewing, in your thoughts and prayers. He recently suffered a significant head injury that is causing him some physical difficulties, and he is in need of your support. Never forget that it is our duty and, most importantly, our honor to take care of those among us in need.
