Through ordinary and simple actions, we strive to teach and spread the Catholic faith, leading all to know God in a personal and loving way. In the celebration of the Eucharist, the parish community receives energy to care for the needs of all people through acts of kindness and love. Dear Parishioners, Today’s Gospel reminds us of Jesus’ presence in our lives at the most challenging times of our lives. The woman in the Gospel had lost her husband and her only son. Into this absolute dire pain, Jesus intercedes. As the young man is commanded to arise, his mother’s emotional and spiritual life arises. As Jesus did this for this young man and his mother, He can do for us. Fr. Brandt Remember that the Passion of Christ ends always in the joy of the Resurrection of Christ, so when you fell in; your own heart the suffering of Christ, remember the resurrection has to come, the joy of Easter has to dawn. Never let anything so fill you with sorrow as to make you forget the joy of the risen Christ. Mother Teresa MOTHER TERESA CANONIZATION PILGRIMAGE September 1 - 7, 2016 A Canonization Pilgrimage for Mother Teresa will be led by Fr. Brandt. For more information visit: www.proximotravel.com.
