Single-Row Tapered Roller Bearings
These tapered roller bearings are uniquely designed to manage
both thrust and radial loads on rotating shafts and in housings.
With double cups and two single cones, these
are available in a variety of configurations for
general industrial and automotive applications.
Available in single-, double- and four-row configurations,
customised geometries and engineered surfaces can be applied
to these bearings to further enhance performance in demanding
applications. The tapered angles allow the bearing to handle
a combination of radial and thrust loads – the steeper the cup
angle, the greater the ability of the bearing to handle thrust loads.

When NSK bearings are supplied in the new global
packaging specification, there is no need to pre-wash the
bearings before mounting.
The global packaging has the following features:
n Low viscosity preservative oil that is chemically compatible with
common machine tool bearing greases
nVPI (Vapour Phase Inhibitor) impregnated into the nylon
polyethylene laminated bag. This gives extra corrosion protection
nBearing vacuum packed and heat-sealed for added protection
from the outside environment This same packaging method is
used for factory greased bearings and all sealed bearings. So
there is no need to pre-clean the bearings before mounting.

Ball Rail Systems
Rexroth roller rail systems were specially developed for use in machine tools, industrial
robots and general machine construction applications calling for compact, rolling-element
linear motion guideways. They are available in various accuracy classes, each with extremely
high load capacity and high rigidity. Standard runner blocks can also be supplied for special
conditions of installation and use and for special working environments. Wide Roller Rail
Systems were developed to cater for high moment loads and highest rigidity requirements.
For heavy duty applications there is a choice of Heavy Duty Roller Rail Systems.
Rexroth fabricates its guide rails and runner blocks with such high precision that each
individual component element can be replaced by another at any time. This makes infinite
combinations possible. Each element can be individually ordered and separately stocked.
Both sides of the guide rail can be used as reference edges. Accessories can be simply
attached to the ends of the runner block.

Ball Screw Assemblies
A wide range of precision screws and preloaded or adjustable-preload single and
double nuts is available for all feeding, positioning and conveying tasks.
Ball screws with driven nut
With a view to improving system specifications even further, Rexroth now offers
its alternative STAR screw drives with fixed screw and driven nut, available with
toothed-belt drive as an option. Yet another variant, with even higher performance
characteristics, is the directly driven nut with hollow-shaft motor (MHS drive unit).
Precision ball screws in miniaturised configuration
This range of products is designed for use in any application where reduced
dimensions, high speeds and maximum precision are the order of the day. Also Bosch
and ERIKS can now offer compact mechanical drives with screw diameters of 4, 6 and
8mm in addition to the familiar 12 and 16mm sizes.
