Squire Parsons Bloomingdale Baptist is pleased to welcome Southern Gospel Music Association Hall of Famer Squire Parsons to our Anniversary Service this morning. One of America’s best loved soloists, Squire Parsons has been recognized over the years by SINGING NEWS as “Favorite Baritone,” “Favorite Gospel Songwriter,” and “Favorite Southern Gospel Male Singer.” A prolific songwriter, Squire is perhaps best known for his song, “Sweet Beulah Land.” An ordained Baptist minister, Squire has been recognized for his devotion to family, service to church, involvement in community affairs, and contributions to the gospel music industry. Squire and his wife, Linda live in North Carolina and have four adult children. HOW CAN I JOIN BLOOMINGDALE BAPTIST CHURCH? By trusting Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord and desiring baptism by immersion as a public profession of your faith. By being baptized if you have trusted Christ as your Savior, but have not made a public profession of that faith through baptism by immersion. By transferring your membership by letter from another Baptist church. By statement as having been scripturally baptized by immersion as a believer. 1944 - Present March 29, 2015 Thankful for the Past, Rejoicing in the Present, Preparing for the Future!
