This 10-day tour offers the most authentic and complete Romanian experience, giving you the chance to admire
the most beautiful and spectacular regions of the country with amazing landscapes and sights, many part of
UNESCO World Heritage: Transylvania, Maramures and Bucovina. You will be delighted to discover fascinating
medieval cities full of history, art and culture like Sibiu, Sighisoara and Brasov, to admire some of the most
beautiful and impressive castles and fortresses including Bran Castle, famously known as Dracula’s Castle, Peles
Castle and the Hunyad Castle and to explore places of unspoiled beauty like Viscri Village, the Painted
Monasteries, Bicaz Canyon or the Red Lake. You will return home with amazing memories and great pictures.
Day 1 Homeland - Bucharest
Day 6 Bucovina region (approx. 150 Km.)
Our guide welcomes you at Otopeni International Airport and then we
transfer you to your 4* hotel in downtown Bucharest. The adventure
will begin with a panoramic tour of the city: The Free Press Square,
The Arch of Triumph, The Victory Square, The Victory Avenue, The
Royal Palace, The Revolution Square and The Palace of the Parliament,
all sights will be seen and explained on the way. In the evening we will
organize a special welcome dinner for you.
The day is full again with captivating sights part of UNESCO World
Heritage, today you will visit three of the most spectacular
Painted Churches where you will admire beautiful frescoes in
lively preserved colors: Moldovita, Sucevita and Voronet, widely
known throughout Europe as "the Sistine Chapel of the East” and
famous for the intense shade of blue used in the frescoes.

Day 2 Bucharest - Sibiu (approx. 280 Km.)
Day 7 Bucovina region - Sighisoara
The day begins with breakfast in the hotel and then you will visit the
Parliament Palace, the world’s largest, heaviest and most expensive
administrative building, an unmistakable communist legacy in the center
of the city. Next, you can enjoy free time in amazing Old Town Bucharest
and have lunch in one of the many pubs and restaurants. After lunch, you
will visit Cozia Monastery, the oldest and most complex historical
monument in Romania and then travel by modern bus to the medieval
city of Sibiu, check into your hotel and explore the fascinating city.
The day starts with breakfast in the hotel and continues with one
of Romania’s most spectacular roads cutting through 300-meter
high rocks as it crosses the mountains to Transylvania - Bicaz
Gorge. You will also admire the Red Lake, a natural barrier lake
created in 1837 by flooding the area. After lunch, your trip takes
you to Sighisoara, one of the most beautiful and best-preserved
medieval towns in Europe, the birthplace of Vlad Dracula and part
of UNESCO World Heritage. You have arrived in Transylvania!

Day 3 Sibiu - Hundoara - Alba Iulia - Cluj Napoca
(approx. 320 Km.)
After breakfast in the hotel you will travel to Hunedoara region to visit
the impressive Hunyad Castle, one of the largest castles in Europe built
in Gothic style with Renaissance architectural elements. Next stop is
Alba Iulia City where you will visit Alba Carolina Citadel, the largest and
best-preserved in Romania and unique in the European military
architecture. After lunch you will travel by modern bus to Cluj Napoca,
the second largest city in Romania, full of history and remarkable
architectural styles. We will spend the night in Cluj Napoca.
Day 4 Cluj Napoca - Maramures region
(approx. 320 Km.)
The day begins with a panoramic tour of the beautiful city of Cluj
Napoca and continues with visits to magnificent sights in Maramures, all
part of UNESCO World Heritage: the astonishing wooden churches in
Surdesti and Barsana monasteries and the fascinating Merry Cemetery
in Sapanta where traditional folk art makes fun of death using bright
colors. You will spend the night in the amazing Maramures region.
Day 5 Maramures region - Bucovina region
(approx. 180 Km.)
After breakfast we will take you on the most amazing steam train ride
with the Mocanita, the last remaining functional forestry train in
Europe and the only means of transport into the heart of Maramures
Mountains, a protected area of wild and unaltered beauty. After lunch
we will travel to the region of Bucovina and stop in Gura Humorului for
dinner and accommodation.

Day 8 Sighisoara - Brasov (approx. 140 Km.)
The day starts with a city tour of the fascinating medieval center
of Sighisoara, part of the UNESCO World Heritage sites. Next we
will take you to Viscri village, another UNESCO World Heritage
site of unspoiled beauty and serenity that fascinated the Prince
of Wales so deeply that he bought and restored a house here.
You will have lunch in this remarkable Viscri area and then travel
to Brasov for a tour of the Old City filled with medieval
ambiance. Accommodation in a 4* hotel in Brasov.
Day 9 Brasov - Bucharest (approx. 230 Km.)
After breakfast in the hotel, we will take you on a city tour in the
Old Town of Brasov where the walls of the old fortress are still
visible and the medieval ambiance will charm you. Today you will
also visit two amazing castles in Transylvania: Bran Castle, an
intriguing 13th century hilltop fortress, famously known as
Dracula’s Castle and Peles Castle, one of the most stunning castles
in Europe. You will have lunch in Bran area and after visiting Peles
Castle and Sinaia Monastery you will return to Bucharest for the
last night of your trip. After checking into your hotel you are
invited to a special farewell dinner and last impressions.
Day 10 Bucharest - Homeland
Today is your last day in Bucharest. Transfer to the airport hoping
our team managed to help you create amazing memories and have
a great time exploring unique and stunning regions of Romania.
