Message from the management
Continuous industrialization and the emergence of new economies in the world have meant
that the global demand for power increases drastically. Inevitably any such persistent demand
brings with it the challenge of how to satisfy that demand while addressing issues of
sustainability. Developing economies are also faced with considerable pressure to install the
most economical and qualified and also cleanest possible means of generating power which
their burgeoning industries so badly need.
In this environment utilities around the world are under constantly increasing pressure to find
an operating profit that expects ever-higher levels of investment, at the same time as keeping
power costs competitive. Here the role of power engineering at different consequences is
enormously high. Engineering works allocating a minor portion of the total cost has significant
effect on project cost and therefore on power cost.
Since its establishment in 1973 Monenco Iran has steadily forged a relationship of solid
trustworthiness through its continuing contributions to the realization of a community in which
electricity can be depended upon with complete piece of mind. To respond to the broad
based trust we enjoy today, going forward we will continue to supply and deliver high-quality
engineering and design services to power industry and at the same time make them to deliver
secured energy.
Today Iran's electric power industry is undergoing major transformations precipitated by
phased rapid and increasingly developments. In response Monenco Iran is pursuing vigorous
initiatives on diversified fronts both to build further on the trust now placed in it and to ensure
the Company's sustained growth into the future. With respect to our design and engineering
of power plants and power transmission/distribution networks, we are aggressively working to
enhance related services and develop new rate schedules. On a Group wide basis, we are
mustering our comprehensive resources in peripheral area already encompassing contribution
and leading in submitting engineering services, amenities in support of lifecycle needs
and information technology (IT) services. Through these and other undertakings across a
broad spectrum, we aim to create new value for our customers and to support their
business activities in unprecedented ways.
Internally going forward we will seek greater management efficiency, more robust price
competitiveness and an ever sounder financial structure. We will also continue to devote the
full complement of our resources to research targeting technologies always at the vanguard
of the field. In these ways we aim to achieve and maintain a competitive position at the top
of our industry.
We sincerely look forward to your ongoing support in the years ahead.
Alireza Shirani
President and CEO

Who we are
Monenco
Iran employs a wide range of talented
engineers and project managers. They advise our clients
on everything from front end engineering design through
regulatory and environmental compliance, to project
management and delivery.
We work in diverse. Our scale and scope mean that
whatever the territory or the technical challenges, we will
have the experience and knowledge to help.
Working on customers’ valuable assets, we have to take
responsibility for their investment, treating our customers’
risk and reputation as our own.
This has led us to build long-term relationships or
partnerships with our customers, which have lasted over
the lifetime of our company.
We help our
customers to create
new lifestyles of
enriched ease and
comfort.
The assets we look after often last for decades. To deliver
value for money to our clients over the lifetime, we have
to plan for the future from the very beginning of a contract.
We also have to consider the long-term impact of what we
do on other groups of stakeholders and on the community
and environment.
Our sustainability program, which runs right across
the company commits us to progress not just against
commercial achievements but also against broader
objectives and values such as behaving ethically and
respecting community concerns.
We believe that we can only grow and succeed in the
long term if we consider the long-term interests of all
our stakeholders. By taking their needs into account, we
ensure a healthy partnership with them and so safeguard
our own future.

the country in a number of fields. We have commitment to apply highest level of
standards and employ latest technology in our designs and engineering works and
bring sustainability to development of the country.
Today Monenco Iran has leading position in power plants engineering as well as
in transmission / distribution of electricity while dispatching / telecommunication is
one another branch of our challenges.
In oil and gas industry we have a position although not proportional to our capabilities
but very soon we get our position. We will upraise our position globally where we
deserve and we will increase our share in the market.
In other branches such as mine, civil engineering, geology and tectonic and all related
technologies we have experienced many studies and designs and we have the
knowledge and expert.
We have well done studies and engineering services of coal fired power plants and
coal mines. Study of tectonic and geology in many projects and in many sites of
the country is done by us.
To render the services we have been well supported by engineers and scientist
with valuable knowledge and experience in the related fields and based on that we
are honored with the first grade in the branch of “Mines and Geology Consultants”
by Iran Management and Programming Organization. We help our clients
in engineering and design of civil works, mines, installations and geological projects
etc.
We offer life-of-asset support by which we mean we look after a client’s investment
from beginning to end. Working with our clients from the very start of their investment,
we can help develop the initial concept, plan, funding and add value from the initial
concepts through to detailed designs.
When it comes to installation of the plant, we can manage the delivery, taking care
of procurement and relationships with and between contractors as well as actual
commissioning. Once the plant is commissioned, we offer long-term care and support
services from maintenance to specialist support services such as energy efficiency
audits or environmental testing.
We also offer a wide range of technical services tailored to the needs of a particular
industry or customer system.
