6/2/2014 7th EBL NBO Officers’ Seminar - European Bridge League Europe HOME GOVERNANCE REGULATIONS COMPETITIONS RESOURCES PEOPLE 7TH EBL NBO OFFICERS’ SEMINAR Intervento precedente << Future Events 7th EBL NBO Officers' Seminar Berlin, Germany 30 January - 2 February 2014 30th January to 2nd February 2014. 52nd European Team Championships The European Bridge League organises a Seminar with the NBO’s Officers every two years. It was a unique opportunity for the NBO’s Officers and the EBL EC Members to discuss the expectations of the NBOs from the EBL and conversely. We hope all the participants found the exchange of information and experience invaluable and enjoyable . The project will be presented in occasion of the first Erasmus+ call with deadline on 14th March 2014. Many other calls are waiting for us: Horizon2020, Europe for citizens, Creative Europe... Why Bridge and Fencing together? Both disciplines develop through related and complementary paths. It is rather restrictive to think only at features as concentration, strategy, tactics, reaction time, ability to anticipate the opponent’s moves in a few seconds, psychological strength. In fact, synergies between the two disciplines are many, and can be identified in the teaching and training approach. Generally, an athlete, in order to be able to achieve his full potential, should reach his highest fitness level together with an excellent state of mind. The training paths of the two disciplines are similar and complementary, and they aim at creating an ideal bond between physical and brain activities, through in-depth analysis on topics such as Problem Solving and Team Building, CSCS2020 : Timeline 1st February EBL Berlin Partner identification Necessary documents gathering Help desk for European Bridge Leagues with regard to documents, budget and costs analysis 14th March deadline Within 20th February documents from National Federations must be collected to reach the first Erasmus+ call before the deadline of 14th March Horizon2020, Europe for citizens and Creative Europe guidelines are under analysis. • Project and budget drafting • Partners identification for the community of values Since June 2014 until April 2015 24th April- 3rd May 2015 EVENT IN ROMA 2016-2020 Training in European Schools of Bridge Duathlon (Bridge + Fencing) finals among selected participants Community enlargement Stakeholders Alliances for the community of values (drugs, peace, violence, bets, inclusion, etc.) Construction of a COMMUNITY and a database of young people fond of Bridge, Sports, values Events on values, drugs, peace, inclusion Testimonials and stakeholders Great international visibility CSCS2020 launch in an National selections to identify finalists for the event in Rome European capital (to be chosen) for year 2016 Skills and Competences Community trainers , Sport Actors and Sport Clean Ambassadors(EQF) Development of online training and of relationship with National Leagues Communication and dissemination Community enlargement Realisation of projects on values and with testimonials Engagement of further European Countries and other World Regions towards future CSCS2020 editions Development of EQF Realisation of online training and games CSCS2020 : the Community Bridge Leagues EXPECTED OUTCOMESS Schools Initial Training (School, Community, web Tutorial…) Associations, Local Authorities, Public Administrations Enhance game practices (Leagues) Sport events (values of the Eu White Paper on Sport) Testimonials Voluntary Associations CSCS2020 European Young People Community Associations on values Desire to participate (Associations on values) Exhanges among young Europeans Virtual and real events News (peace, FIGHT AGAINST drugs, violence, etc.) Surveys Trainers International Events School projects developing the prototype (teachers and students) Focus groups Database CSCS2020 : the project CSCS2020 consists in the organisation of a sport event on Mind Sports Bridge & Fencing, and in the creation of a community of young people on the basis of values such as friendship, integrity, solidarity, inclusion, contained in the EU White Paper on Sport.
